A Lodge on the Desert sets on the West Mesa desert, high on a hill, overlooking the Mesilla Valley. Two hundred mile daytime view captures the Franklin Mountains, A-Mountain, Sacramento Range, The Organ Peaks, Robledos, and Picacho Peak. There are mountain vistas in all directions, Mesilla Valley farmland, and the Rio Grande river. We have large patios, covered and open, to enjoy our awesome views.

As sunset reddens the sky behind Picacho Peak, twilight settles over the City and the lights begin to glow, illuminating the sky from El Paso to Dona Ana. The sparkling night lights appear to be at your feet. A full moon rising over the mountains is a not to be forgotten sight.

As the first light of dawn breaks, a cloud streaked sky turns crimson red, as the sun begins it's rise over the Organ Mountains.

A Lodge On The Desert, Bed & Breakfast, sets on 26 acres in west Las Cruces. Stonewalls, adobe walls and wrought iron completely enclose the Lodge. A dawn to dusk lighting system adds to the security and lights up the way for nighttime enjoyment of the patios and garden. Further west, some 200 acres are vacant. The sparse population makes for a peaceful setting. The city and mountain views create spectacular backdrops for walking, hiking or lazy times in a comfy chair.
