“Found our Disney vacation rental for years to come”

Reviewed 15 Apr 2013

The minute you pull up to the staffed security house and drive past the clubhouse, you feel like you are in the tropics. This resort has everything. Beautiful pool, waterslides, kids pool, playgrounds, all sorts of sports and activities-so much to do that you almost forget you are really there to go to the Disney parks. That's what's so great about this place-you don't have to go to the theme parks everyday of your vacation, fighting crowds and feeling exhausted by the end of the day. You can, and believe me, will want to, spend a day or two lounging around this town home and resort, taking in everything it has to offer-and believe me, your kids won't think twice about Disney on those days-they will be so preoccupied having fun. Now to this town home. Absolutely stunning. Impeccably clean. Fashionably furnished. Fully equipped and than some. The moment we stepped inside, we felt at home. I could easily spend months at a time here. So clean and well maintained, I had no concern letting my infant crawl around the floors. Even the private pool was spotless. When researching for our vacation, we came across many vacation rentals, several within this same resort community-and in some cases those others were less expensive. But after speaking with the owners of this particular property and viewing the photographs, we chose this one, even at a bit higher rate, because of the personal attention the owners pay to their guests. They truly are there for you at any time. Unlike some of those cheaper town homes, this home has very close access to the clubhouse-important when toting around an infant and 2 toddlers and everything that goes along with them. It also has a south facing patio and private pool/spa which gets nice sun throughout the day-not the case w/ some of the others. It's among the newer town homes, and the condition and furnishings definitely prove that. In the end, the price was still quite low considering all that this town home had to offer. No complaints

“Exceeded my expectations and better than the "five star" Disney”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2013

My family and I went to Disney in September 2012 and stayed at the Contemporary as my research led me to believe that this was the best way to travel with a 2 year old (since it was along the monorail line). We paid $550/night during Labor Day weekend. Needless to say, I was very disappointed from the cleanliness to the food. The hotel room was very small and not well cleaned. And spending nearly $60 for breakfast and lunch for 2 adults and a baby was absurd. But you've got no choice if you're staying in Disney's hotels. Then, a friend of ours told us about the Paradise Palms and we stayed there in February. It was amazing!!! When I first walked in to this townhouse, first thing that struck me was the furnishings. Everything looked brand new. I really enjoyed it as my taste is for modern design and I felt like I was in my own home. It had all of the comforts and conveniences of my own home as well. It was so spacious and clean. The private pool was such a nice treat for those days when we returned from the parks exhausted. And on other days, the resort pools and jacuzzis were like being on a tropical vacation, with the Tiki Bar, waterfalls, and plenty of lounge chairs. At night there was plenty to do on the resort (the movie theater was nicer than the theaters in my hometown - and much more private. The game room had a variety of offerings and the playgrounds were especially great for our little one. Outside the resort, we found great family restaurants, plenty of wonderful shopping, and tons of other activities within only a few miles of the resort. Easy driving to all the theme parks and anything else you may need, or want to do. I would definitely recommend this townhouse to anyone who is tired of paying the 5 star hotel rates, but still wants the 5 star luxury amenities and treatment. This vacation rental would be perfect for small families like min or large families - even couples or groups of friends. I know we will be staying here again.

“A family vacation of a lifetime”

Reviewed 23 Mar 2013

I had the pleasure of staying at this townhouse and resort with my son his wife, my 2 year old grandson, and other family members - 8 people in all. The townhouse was absolutely beautiful - so spacious and spotlessly clean. Fully furnished and complete with everything we needed to make our vacation week complete. All we needed to bring was our clothes. Everything else was provided/available to us. The owner even kept in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. 4 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms meant that there was tons of room for the whole family to spread out comfortably, with plenty of privacy and room to spare. Central air conditioning allowed us to keep the house nice and comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make wonderful family meals - all we needed to do was take one quick trip to the nearby grocery store to get food to prepare for the week. Though there were plenty of great family restaurants close to this resort, we loved spending time at this townhouse so much that we often prepared our family meals there. Eating outside on the private patio by our own pool was a special treat. Free high-speed Wifi included so we could keep in touch with the rest of the family and send updates about how my grandson was enjoying Disney. Having our own washer/dryer right there in the townhouse was fantastic, especially with a 2 year old - we all know how quickly the little one's clothes get dirty. Meant we didn't have to overpack. We could simply throw the clothes in the laundry whenever we wanted. Our family loved having our own private pool - especially our grandson. And the resort was amazing. Only steps away. Huge tropical pool and waterslide, a super fun kiddie pool for my grandson, not to mention the indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and the movie theater was great for those evenings where we just wanted to relax at the resort. We will definitely be staying here again next year.
