Life Is Good B&B is the ideal retreat for business and vacation travelers alike. Our private guesthouse provides many of the amenities you would find at home and is located in LA's charming, safe and quiet residential neighborhood of Sherman Oaks. It is easily accessible to many attractions such as: Hollywood, Universal Studios, the Getty Museum, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, and of course, the sunny beaches of Southern California. And we are within walking distance to many local shops and restaurants.
Your 400 square foot suite is separate from the main house and offers you your own private entrance, a private bathroom w/shower. It includes a basket of complimentary fine toiletries, lush towels and fresh linens. A super comfortable and luxurious King-size bed, a folding twin size bed for an extra person, 2 inviting chairs, a table, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate maker, a microwave,a toaster, a refrigerator, (stocked with complimentary bottled water, soda and juice) a beautiful writing desk, Cable TV, central air, Wi-Fi, and plenty of street parking are all included in your room rate!
Step outside your suite's sliding doors, and enjoy our serene, lush garden, take a refreshing swim in our pool, or just relax, read, play some cards at one of a number of sitting areas designed to fit your mood, from a peaceful shady spot with a romantic swing for two, to a lovely corner bistro setting. In fact, you may not even want to leave to explore our City...

“Friendly, charming B&B, easy access to Hollywood”
Life is Good B&B is a great place to stay when visiting sites in and around Hollywood. The neighborhood is clean and safe. The B&B is well kept and comfortable. Ronit went the extra mile to make our stay great as we celebrated our anniversary by leaving a card, chocolates, and flowers in the room when we arrived. The breakfasts were delicious! We will stay here again the next time we visit Los Angeles.

Upon our return from Fiji we decided to stay a couple of nights in LA, and opted for B&B. Ronit was amazing in communicating with us an accommodating our schedule change. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were at home! The hospitality is fantastic ! Knowing we were newlyweds she prepared a little card and chocolate for us. The breakfast was fantastic! I loved the room where we stayed and Ronit made our stay absolutely fantastic! We will definitely be coming back!
I stayed at this charming & cozy "Life is Good in la" Bed & Breakfast with my two teenage boys for five days while vacationing in Los angeles. The owners were very nice and friendly, they welcomed us warmly and allowed us to check in early:) The suite had everything that travelers may look for, as a complimentary the fridge was always filled up with water, pop, juice. Also soft & clean towels, shampoo, conditioning & soap, lotion were stocked at all the time. I found most hotels in California Wi-Fi & parking are not included in the fee, but "Life is Good in la" B & B -these are included, the parking was right in front, on the street and the internet was fast. Besides, they were very helpful with advice around the city and print outs of our online purchased tickets for attractions. Breakfast was fantastic; every morning we loved having it by the pool - Ronit makes very delicious French toast, different type of omelets, Mediterranean salad, provides fresh fruits, and freshly squeezed orange juice from their lovely garden... Everything was very convenient there, and the area was safe and clean. After a long day of entertaining, my boys were saying "let's go home" and every night we had a good sleep in "Life is Good" B & B. Ronit & Penni definitely made our vacation enjoyable and my life easier in la. We loved their adorable dog Pixie, she is very sweet and friendly :) Definitely, I will recommend it to my friends and I wish Ronit & Peni many more happy travelers and much more blessings!!! “The name says it all!”
We recently stayed at Life is Good, It's located very close to all the major highways and there are restaurants and a convenience store nearby. When we arrived we saw our names on a chalkboard hanging from the door welcoming us, my 11 year old daughter Leanne was thrilled that someone spelled her name correctly. Ronit arrived a few minutes later to welcome us in person, along with Pixie, the house pooch, she's an awesome dog! Ronit showed us the menu and how to fill it out, it's coated in plastic and you can circle or check off what you want. You also get to choose what time and where you would like breakfast served. We ate outside by the pool. It was lovely. Ronit would stay and chat every morning. The suite is a cozy room with a comfortable bed, microwave, coffee maker and friidge that was stocked with water and soft drinks. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure.(important in my book) There are a variety of soaps and lotions in the bathroom. Just outside the sliding doors of the suite is a heated kidney shaped swimming pool for guests to enjoy..we all did. Ronit emailed me shortly after we booked the room asking me if my daughter could swim, she was concerned because the pool is so close to the suite. Another email was sent a few days before we arrived asking if we needed directions from the airport...(very nice gesture).The breakfasts were very good, there are a number of foods to choose from, the fresh fruit was delicious! The coffee was perfect. Ronit and Pini are gracious hosts and offered advice on what sights to see while in the area. We never thought of visiting Venice Beach until Ronit suggested it, we had a blast there! If you want a comfortable room that won't break the bank, good food and good conversation..stay at Life is Good, you won't regret it. The only negative thing I have to say, leaving there was like leaving behind good friends. Ronit, Pini and Pixie, we will miss you. Thank you for everything, Patty, Kim and Leanne
“It's true. Life is good here :-)”
We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my husband's birthday with a Warner Bros. Studio tour. Ronit and Pini were the perfect hosts! We encountered a closed I-5 on the way down, and they suggested a detour and checked in on our progress later. The next morning, they checked the traffic and suggested an alternate route to get to our tour, as well as suggested other places we might visit in the area after our tour. The room was beeeautiful. Very comfortable bed, very warm and cozy atmosphere with just the right touch of elegance. There was a lovely attention to detail in the decor and little welcoming touches, such as the chalkboard with our names on the door, the basket of amenities in the bathroom, and a little bouquet of birthday balloons greeting us as we walked in the door. The food was simply amazing - in addition to breakfast, we also opted for the three-course candlelit dinner. Ronit and Pini were wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and such a delight. After adventuring around the area and experiencing la traffic by day, this was a sweet and peaceful retreat to return to hungry and tired. Their B&B; is an outstanding value for the level and quality of service. Once word gets out about this (relatively new) B&B;, we anticipate it being more difficult to book a room here the next time we return to la!!
“Beautiful Spring Vacations”
Dear Ronit and Pini, two weeks - between March 21 and april 6 - we stayed in your nice BnB to see our son with his new home and company, the city and environment of Los angeles and its life. From Germany we came the first time to america. The nicely furnished room has enough place and in your comfortable beds we slept very well. The days began with a nice view to the pool surrounded by many flowers. And in the corner besides the pool the breakfast was prepared by Ronit. Combined with salads of fresh vegetables and fruits it was very tasty and a good basis for the day. On certain days we got specialities of the house and Pini and Ronit gave us useful informations of L.A. and traditions. So we felt integrated into the family. At the end of the holidays we got a great candlelight dinner with a three-course menu. So we say thank you for all and - Auf Wiedersehen! Renate and Wolfgang

Los angeles can be a busy, bustling city - This is why we always stay at Life is Good. It is a peaceful oasis, away from the hustle and bustle. Literally a place to come home to. Ronit and Pini serve up a wonderful breakfast. They are helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable and the room is lovely, tidy, private and quiet. Forget the sterile hotel atmosphere...this is the place to be.
“My homeaway from home”
My stay at Ronit & Pini's B&B; was a+++.( my second time and planning to come back next month!) It was the exemplary B&B; experience. A clean and very comfortable room and an incredibly delicious breakfast was all I wanted, but what I got was much morre. The intangibles here are that Ronit & Pini are a rare brand of hosts who wholeheartedly welcome you into their warm home with their generosity and a genuine love for hosting. You, as the guest, feel a sense of being at home while away from home... I was also very happy to have met their beautiful daughters and granddaughter who immediately clicked with and played with mine for a while. I couldn't have asked for anything more and plan on many more stays there.

Your attention to details (keurig coffees in the room, shampoos/lotions, lush towels & robes, mini fridge stocked with drinks and coffee creamers, and also a microwave) made us feel very happy that we chose to stay here over a hotel. Such a treat and a great value at the same time. Our favorite was the gourmet breakfasts by the pool every morning! We loved staying at your adorable B&B; and will definitely be back to stay again! “Life is great!!!”
Due to popular demand for this place, we had to break up our stay into two stays for 12 days total to help family move into the area. Wish we could have stayed the whole time with Ronit and Pini and Pixie. They were so helpful ...and fun! Pini is the resident genius and assembled a shopping cart for me! Ronit is the resident hostess and her cooking is flavorful and fresh and delicious. The breakfasts are definitely the highlight with a full menu to choose from -- including warm bread (yummy croissants), bacon, cheese (havarti, gouda, feta) delightful mediterranean salad, fresh sliced fruits...all served on charming dishware with real hummingbirds in the trees to delight... And enough food to feed a small village! Definitely the best way to start the day. It was exciting to be able to submit our selection each evening and awaken to the beautiful tasty delights. Furnishings were 6 months new. Wonderful sheets, bed, pillow and very cushy towels. The soaps are fragrant. 100s of tv channels! We did not stay in long enough to surf them all! Good wifi. They even provide a GPS with pre-programmed locations. The "compound" is very secure (though not needed on this serene street) with a code entry and security cameras. No need for locks on the our room doors. Getting to the guesthouse is very well lit with motion activated lights, making it very easy and safe for us klutzes coming home at night and not stumbling to navigate to the back guest house. Street parking is no problem. Washing machine/dryer work really well and was handy for our longer stay. And the fridge was stocked with water, juice, and pop! Nice mugs and takeaway cups for their selection of Keurig coffees. We visit here regularly and plan to come back as soon as we can. Definitely more than just a room ! It's an experience!
