“Nice studio, perfect stay in Florence”
A very cozy studio in the center of Florence, literally few steps from the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Dante Museum, La Badia Museum, a real pearl for Dan Brown's fans. The position is perfect also to reach the central railway station, with high speed connections to Rome and Venice. The studio is situated in a Middle age tower (you can see the original bricks), is fresh of a full overhaul and has all the modern facilities (including the air-conditioning, that has been just installed). The sofa-bed is big enough for two persons, but if you need some privacy you may go a single bed upstairs and close the curtains (a perfect solution to read late in the evening without disturbing a slipping person; hardly available in a studio). Everything was in order and very clean. The kitchen-unit has all the cookware necessary and there is a mini-market near the house with a good choice of Italian products. All around there is a plenty of eating places for all the budgets (pizzeria, trattoria, restaurants, ecc.). Lorenzo (the host) suggested us some very nice places (in particular, we appreciated a lot a trattoria just in front of the house, with typical Tuscan food). It was a really pleasant stay for both of us and the host was very available for any our request.
“Lovely Studio. Great location.”
The location of the studio is great; All of the major sites of interest in Florence are within easy walking distance and there are restaurants and shops along the street where the studio is located. There is a handy laundromat right around the corner, and a food market is just about 10 minutes walk away. The studio looks clean and is very nicely decorated - the furnishings look current and the whole place is nicely lit. There's a working kitchen that is stocked with handy utensils. The shower area is a little tight in space, but that is expected for a studio. I didn't really have any problem with outside noise; A few times I can hear people outside late at night, but it wasn't much of an issue. This was my first time renting for overseas travel, and I was very happy with the experience. It provided the independence that I wanted coupled with a nice, clean, and safe place to call home for a week.
In the heart of historical city. Best location, nice studio apartment.
“Magic stay in the heart of Florence”
A very nice appartment in the center of Florence (just a few meters from the Duomo), easy to reach because located in one of the main streets of the center (in the semi-pedastrian zone). There is also a mini-market with good choice and reasonable prices just few steps from the palace. The appartment has been recently restructured and the furniture and all the facilities are new. The portion of the palace in which the appartment is located was a Middle age tower, so you can see very caracteristic bricks and feel the history spirit. We stayed in the appartment in two persons and were quite comfortable. Lorenzo is a very helpful host.
