Description

Rock Haul is a 6 bedroom, 3 bath log house in North Glade Cove portion of Deep Creek Lake accomodating up to 12 people. The house is located on a wooded lot with a nice view of the lake. It features a slip in a community dock for only one boat, and deep water swimming off the end of the dock, which is located right in front of the house. The lower level of the house features 2 bedrooms (king and twins (2)), bath, a TV room with a wood stove, and a porch facing the lake. The main level consists of a large living room, dining room, kitchen, bath, and a covered porch across the front of the house facing the lake. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms (queen, queen, double, and 2 twin beds) and another bath. Outside are picnic tables, a gas grill, and a charcoal grill. There is plenty of off street parking in the driveway.

No public transit is available. Our website has suggestions about what to do while at Deep Creek, but a private vehicle is necessary.

We are not usually there to greet you, but you can reach us by email or phone if any problems or questions should arise. Sometimes we will stop by if we are in the area, or we may phone you to see how you are doing.

House rules

We do not rent to groups of young people who are less than 24 years of age. Any tenant abusing the property, ignoring the 11 PM noise limit, or exhibiting abusive behavior, will be subject to eviction.
House should be left as it was found, except for cleaning. Keep hot tub clean.
Damage deposit of $200 returned if no damages, extra cleaning or putting items back, hot tub so dirty it must be changed, or not checking out on time.

Response from the owner Thanks for your review. The buffer area around the lake is controlled by MD DNR and they do not allow any cutting of the vegetation, or we would have a better lake view. The view is not bad, and some vegetation helps to limit the boat noise.

How do damage deposits work?

If John (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
