Location

Whitsun View is an end-terraced, stone cottage, situated in a quiet, private road, very close to the centre of Wooler in the heart of Northumberland.

It is conveniently located for the attractive walks in the Cheviot Hills, the beautiful, unspoilt beaches of the Northumberland coast, the Scottish Border country and the castles, houses and gardens that make this area such a rich one for visitors.

Kitchen, fully equipped and fitted to a high standard.

This includes gas cooker, microwave, fridge, upright freezer, automatic washer and pine dining table and chairs.

Comfortable lounge with colour t.v, dvd & gas fire. Interenet

Books, games and a comprehensive guide to the area provided.

First Floor

Large double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with good quality mattresses and pine furniture. Cot and high chair available. Bathroom I with electric shower .Gas central heating

Gas / electric included in the cost.

Good quality bedding is provided ( sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers ) Also hand towels and tea towels. Washing line and clothes airer supplied.

Beautiful garden with hill views.

We also can provide a cot and high Chair . And a stair gate.

Parking in front of cottage.

The owners regularly use the cottage themselves as a second home, so you will find many extras available, all intended to make it an enjoyable stay.

“Nice End Terrace”

A cozy end terrace property, well equipped for a family of four for a week. Really good location for exploring the coast and castles nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and the kids were sad to leave the "holiday house" as they she'd tears on the final night. I'm quite tall at 6'4 and had quite a few bumps on the lower door frames and the double bed was too small for a good night's sleep. Some deeper cleaning in corners of rooms and under sofas etc would be the only other recommendation but minor points that didn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

“Perfect dog friendly house”

Lovely cottage in a nice, very quiet terrace. Wooler is a nice little town with very friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants and most of them are dog friendly! Surrounding countryside is stunning and it's not far from the fabulous coast. Perfect for exploring Northumberland.

“Cosy property with all that you need.”

Good location as Wooler is ideal if you want to access great walks as well as sightseeing inland and on the the coast. The location of the property is quiet - lovely and the welcome touch of cake and fresh milk in the fridge much appreciated. Accessing Whitsun View by vehicle needs a bit of care as entrance is quite narrow. The property itself is very cosy and well equipped, especially facility for drying walking gear. Views described on website somewhat affected by growth of trees and shrubs since website photos taken but this could be remedied by some strategic pruning.
