Beautiful vacation Private Villa with breathtaking views, warm and welcoming staff, and barman. With private Ocean Access and boat dock.
1. Please include all people, childre and babies count as people. Failure to provide accurate number of people will result in denial.
2. Not a party or event house.
3. House is surrounded by a lush green outdoor environment, so expect insects, raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, cats, iguanas, etc.
This is a Villa, its big., very big. This is Not a condo/apt
If your looking for privacy and a time to unwind, in Acapulco, this is the place for you.
You may choose a private room, a shared room, or the master suite which is very large, adjacent to this room is a smaller room with two twin beds. Each twin bed sleeps one person.
The main features that CASA BETETA has to offer are:
- Spectacular views of The Island Rocketa, bay of Acapulco, and the open Sea.
- A pool ocean side view, with table, sun umbrella, and sunning chairs
- One of the few properties that has a Private access to the Ocean with Boat Dock.
- Wireless Internet, this internet is not super high speed, it is regular 1.0 megabyte/10megabits per second, sufficient for general use, facebook, twiter, youtube, etc... this part of Acapulco does not have it, and won't have super high speed for another 3 years, according to the internet company.
The house is located in Historic Acapulco. This was the guest house for Ramon Beteta my Grandfather, who was the former Minister of Finance of Mexico under president Miguel Aleman in 1946, and ambassador to Italy and Greece. This Villa was built during the early years of Acapulco's development. It is one of the best known Villas in Acapulco.
We have a staff of 2 people (Juan - House Manager, Santiago - Activities and Bartender)
For transport it is best to do so in Taxi cabs. The house manager Juan, can recommend this and other means of transportation.
Although most of the time can be spent in the house, we can also recommend local restaurants, as well as other outings.

- Wireless Internet, this internet is not digital. this part of Acapulco does not have it, and won't have it for another 3 years, according to the internet company.
Please be conscious of electricity, if your not in a room please turn off the lights.
After 2 A.M. Please be courteous to our neighbors regarding, noise, singing, etc...
I am so sorry to say but we no longer allow dogs. We have had problems with past guests not cleaning after them, and getting hair in the pool and on all the furniture. I tried, but other guests felt it not important to respect my wishes.
No outside guests, Only booked guests are allowed on the property.
No glass around the swimming pool area, ever. If you break a glass becuae you failed to follow this rule, you will be charged $200 to drain the pool, have it cleaned and refill the pool. This takes 2 days to do, so please no glass. ;o) thank you.
No swimming in the ocean at night, the very big fish come out at night, and the sea urchins in droves.
Staff should be treatd with respect and courtasy at all times. They are there to make your stay enjoyable.
Lastly, please close and lock the kitchen doors at sunset. Otherwise uninvited guests such as raccoons will come in and eat everything and make a huge mess. I know, I have forgotten to do this myself, and it was a nightmare, how much of a mess they could do in such a short period of time. ;o) was

Yea the pool is pretty cool with the changing light colours. Hope you guys got to experiment with alll the different patterns. I like lighting only 1/2 the pool, and have it cycle through the dark blues and reds very slowly. Makes for a very dramatic and cozy feeling, and you can then see all the stars looking down at you. Response from the owner I will keep this response to the points. My reviews on this site as well as a competitors sight speak well of the Villa, all 5 star. 1. This person never stayed in the Villa, never saw it, never stepped foot in, only his brother and family stayed there. The reason is the day after, that is 24 hrs. After entering my Villa, Saul wanted to add more people, bringing the total to 17, which is 4 over capacity, I said no, he then canceled his arrival, his brother and family stayed without any, I repeat, any complaints, if the place was truly as bad as Saul alleges, they could have canceled. in fact according to my staff the had nothing but good things to say. Saul also felt that children were not to be counted as people, thats why he never mentioned them till after I had already given him a 50%+ discount! We all know children need a place to sleep, eat, and bathroom facilites. That is why it is very clearly stated, 13 as my maximum, not 17. Because of Acapulco's dangerous reputation for many years, there has not been 100% occupancy, so an alternative space could have been found by the family if the Villa was truly an issue. 2. The house has always been maintained, in fact I had just had all the wiring redone inside the Villa, before their arrival, as well as remodeling the swimming pool. The house as is clearly stated in the description, was built for my Grandfather in the 1950's, and is located in the jungle, and is maintained. 3. The house is fumigated on a regular basis, no exception was made here. As mentioned, the house is in a lush green outdoor setting and states, [ House is surrounded by a lush green outdoor environment, so expect insects, raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, cats, iguanas, etc.] 4. There were no health problems regarding the food in the Villa. In fact the guests had repeatedly left the premisses to eat street food. By their OWN admission, they had a pretty good idea what had gotten them sick. They even told my staff that it was street water, and some quesadillas, to name a few. Not to mention that one of the guests had arrived ill, which my staff shared some of their medicine with that person. 5. The bathrooms are cleaned everyday by my staff and the pictures are all accurate reflections on the condition of the Villa. On several occasions I have had guests say, "the photo do not do justice to the place." So I rather keep the photos as they are, and have the guests even more surprised in a positive way. 6. The Villa is over 15,000 square feet, (hence, Mansion Villa) the booster for the internet had just gone out. Mexico is notorious for electrical spikes in its electricity. I had a new one on order from the USA. The house had 70% coverage, (about 10,500 feet of coverage), the areas affected were the pool area, and the master suit. 7. By the brother's ADMISSION as well as the women in the group, they admitted to ironing on my dining room table, hence causing damage which was documented via photos and sent to TripAdvisor in order to claim the damage. They even said, take the damage out of the damage deposit. Not to mention this was one of the original tables that was hand built for my grandfather. A piece of family history, Ironed on, how sad is that. 8. The rooms which all have real beds are clearly marked on the web page. Saul even admitted that was his mistake.
