Amphitheatrically positioned on the foot of the White Mountains, at Kournas village in North East side of Chania, the newly built and modern villa is located on a lush green valley surrounded by acorns and provide visitors with precious relaxing moments, offering tranquility, comfort and luxury. Mare Blue Villa constitutes a challenging resort for summer and winter escapes, meeting the expectations of exploring the touch of the surrounding wild nature. The area benefit from the only natural lake “Kournas Lake” among Mediterranean islands. The220 sq.m. villa, offering a private swimming pool, consist of three elegantly designed bedrooms with spacious balconies combining panoramic mountain and sea views, an attractive and fully equipped living room, a stylish kitchen and two spacious bathrooms and one independent studio with double bed and its bathroom. The delightful sandy beaches of Kavros and Georgioupolis are only 5 to 8 minutes drive from villas.

The first floor of villa offers a fully furnished spacious living room with an attractive stone fireplace and a kitchen equipped with all the necessary kitchen gadgets and tools, including dishwasher, electric cooker all the crockery/ cutlery and cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, blender machine, iron/ironing board. An interior marble staircase leads to the second floor, where 3 luminous stylish bedrooms,(2 double rooms and 1 with twin beds) decorated in 3 different tones preserve the healthy breath of fresh air and the sense of well-being. Each room has spacious furnished balconies, with spectacular views where you can enjoy precious relaxing moments in front of the enticing scenery. Besides,each floor offers an ample bathroom, enhancing the unique blend of villa style, space and luxury which is equipped with the necessary amenities and a washing machine. 4 LCD flat screen televisions are provided for the 3 bedrooms and the living room.

The property offer Private Parking area, Barbecue area, full central heating and hot water available 24 hours a day, air conditioning in the 3 bedrooms as the beneficial position of the villa keeps the house beautifully cool. All bed linen, bath, hand and tea-towels are provided. The Electric, water costs and swimming pool maintenance are also included in the prices. Cleaning service is provided with the frequency depending on the duration of accommodation. however, it usually takes place twice a week.

On the ground floor of villa, a fully independent studio provides accommodation for 2 extra persons, offering villa the opportunity to accommodate up to 8/9 persons. Studio is fully equipped, ideal for little privacy.

The villa offer a 35 m2 private swimming pool , equipped with sun lounges and parasols and share the BBQ area. A private parking area is also included within the location of the property. There is 1 outdoor shower by the pool. The surrounding area is featured with traditional stone pavement where visitors may relax and enjoy the exquisite view and the flower garden, the acorns and the grassy land surrounding the villa contributing to making a unique feast of colors. Property is fully secured, since the area is entirely enclosed by an external stone wall.

Only 5-8 minutes drive from the villa,the sandy beaches of Georgioupolis and Kavros,offer relaxation and tranquility. Only 2 min.drive the only natural lake among Mediterranean islands “Kournas lake” preserves the village’s intact natural environment, adding to the ecological value of the picturesque village. West Crete provides a variety of the most delightful beaches including Kolympari, Kalamaki, Acrotiri, Elafonisi, Falasarna, Palaiochora, Agia Roumeli, Loutro, Sfakia and Fragkokastelo.

The beneficial geographical position of “Kournas village” allows visitors to easily access the most delightful sandy beaches and sites of Crete, as it is approximately 60kilometres from Heraklion 40kilometres from Chania, 20kilometres from Rethymnon on the National road of Chania-Rethymon, 3 km from “Georgioupolis beach” and only 2 km from “Kavros beach”.
