Description
Oceana Cottage is situated in Brinlack, Gweedore in Co. Donegal. It is a four bedroom house with 2 double ensuite bedrooms, two further family rooms with a double and single bed in each room and a family bathroom. It has a large sitting room and conservatory with views of the Atlantic Ocean. A large kitchen with dining area for 8 people. The sitting room has an open fire and the house is fully centrally heated with underfloor heating in the kitchen/dining room and conservatory. It has a separate utility room with fridge freezer, washing and drying machines. It is off the main road so very safe for children to play with easy walks to the coast and Cnoc Fola. The nearest beach is Buninbhir and takes about 10 minutes to walk. Glassach and Port Arthur Beach are around 15 and 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car. Other nearby attractions are golf, fishing, horseriding and there is sailing and kayaking available both at Buninbhir and Port Arthur Beaches. Glenveagh National and Ards Forest Park are within driving distance. Teach Jack Public House is 10 minutes walk. Great for Road cycling or using Mounting bikes.
Oceana Cottage is family friendly but would also suit couples looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday away from it all!

“Beautiful house”
We had a lovely stay at an amazing house with stunning views of the sea. The pictures of this house really don’t do it justice. It’s a lovely house and amazing views! We recommend it highly.

“A brilliant week in a lovely house in a beautiful location.”
The views from the front of the house out over the Atlantic and the wee islands there will live in the memory. The house itself has everything you could wish for, lots of space and light, quiet corners - and all the practicalities well sorted too - good showers for instance, and an impressive cooker! Apart from the natural beauty round about (the shoreline walk from the house is magic) we found good shops, pubs and cafes all within a few minutes drive. I can't fault it and heard no complaints from any of the gang that was there for the week. Thanks very much to the owners! Cheers, Bob.

“Easter break”
Stayed here with my family easter time house was lovely everything you needed also a bonus we could bring our pet dog.sunset was beautiful at evening time,lovely walk down to the pebble beach .Quiet and idylic but my older kids were able to get taxi back from qweedore from pub cheap enough.lovely house would recommend if looking for quiet relaxing break.

“Disgusting”
I booked this accommodation through holiday lettings for my elderly parents for a few days away. The booking went through + the owner was to reply to confirm this. After patiently waiting over 24 hours, emailing the owner Mary over 10 times, I was still left hanging! Holiday Lettings + TripAdvisor were helpful, but they too cudnt get hold of the owner. My parents were left having to look for a hotel in donegal after being let down by yourself. I suggest Mary you have the decency from now on to reply to your emails, abit of courtesy doesn't cost anything. If you can't guarantee a booking, a simple no is good enough instead of ignoring customers. Anyone thinking of using this accommodation, I would ask u to think again, as no doubt Mary will let you down at the last minute too.
