“We loved every minute of our stay!!”

Reviewed 25 Jun 2014

Within minutes of arriving at The Temple Beach House we felt we were 'home'! We stayed here for 5 nights and we could not have chosen a better place to stay in Hoi An (a 5 minute taxi ride to Old Town Hoi An). Inside the house is beautifully appointed with 2 large, comfy bedrooms, plenty of lounging room, a generous and well stocked kitchen area, and 3 amazing bathrooms (glass ceilings, tropical plants and one has a double shower). Outside is just as lovely, with day beds, fans, lanterns and beautifully kept gardens. A beautiful little path leads straight from the backyard to your own slice of An Bang Beach, where private daybeds and umbrellas await. The House is about a 10 min meander along the beach to some lovely restaurants at An Bang Beach, with both Western and Vietnamese food available. The most amazing family helps to look after the house cleaning and the gardens, they were such a pleasure to get to know and never intruded on our privacy. We found the owners very easy to deal with, communication was always prompt and nothing we asked or requested was ever a problem. We loved our time at the Temple Beach House and would highly recommend it! In fact we can not wait to go back and stay for longer next time!

“Heavenly stay!”

My husband and I with our 3 kids, (aged15, 10 & 9) stayed here for 4 nights at the end of april. I'm so glad we chose this place it was the perfect place to stop and rest, as well as enjoy Hoi an, half way through our 4 week Vietnam adventure. The location is perfect, right on the beach with a devine deck complete with day bed looking out on the water. The house comes with bikes perfect for riding to the an Bang restaurants for dinner or collecting some fresh bread for breakfast. The beds and showers were the best we had in Vietnam. The garden is beautiful and adds to the relaxing vibe. The house has been styled really well and is full of lovely art and antiques. The owners were incredibly helpful from the first email to checking us out. I highly recommend the Temple and am already scheming how I can get back there. Oh and ask about aaron and Huongs delicious sausages

“Fabulous return visit”

Reviewed 1 May 2014

This was our second stay at Temple Beach House. We stayed in august last year and visited again in april. I think that says it all! I left a review in august and the comments still stand. Everything was as perfect as we had remembered. There have been some additions to the comfort of the property since our first visit. There are now 2 sun beds on the beach for guests' use and the area leading up to the sun deck has been turfed. This is our little piece of heaven.

“We love Temple Beach house!”

What an amazing place. Great people (such lovely and welcoming hosts treating us like family), an ideal location smack bang on an Bang Beach a short bike ride from multiple Euro- friendly (pizza at Luna d'atunno (??) is incredible) and vietnamese restaurants and the village, and such a simple but functional and stunning house. It looks dark in photos but isn't - wonderful breezes flow all day and sun lounges in multiple locations mean no matter what you feel like you can find it here. We even saw phosphorous light the waves neon blue from the beach deck at night with a glass of champagne! Absolute heaven. This was our respite after the hectic Ha Noi - and within five minutes of arriving we asked to stay longer. In fact - my partner and I ended up holding an impromptu elopement on the beach deck arranged by the hosts in an incredible 48 hours. Temple Beach House holds such a special place in our hearts. The local government makes some announcements early in the morning - but they aren't anywhere near as frequent or intrusive as in other larger cities in Vietnam, and are such a part of Vietnamese culture that they don't bother at all. They're also not as loud as other places - this truly was a great place to relax and so family friendly. Great to have such a functional kitchen and awesome laundry service. Thanks TBH crew - we'll be back xx

“Beautiful Beach Front Property”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2014

We spent one week at the fantastic and immaculate (daily housekeeping is done) Temple Beach House. Daniel was very easy to deal by email. He promptly responded to all my questions. He arranged airport transfers and buying groceries so they were in the fridge for our arrival. The house is even better then the pictures. It's perfectly set up for indoor/outdoor living by opening all the doors. There is air conditioning which we used at night and we were given a cell phone which was great for calling taxi's (about $5 to Hoi an) etc. Huong met us at the house on our arrival and was great suggesting restaurants (Mango Mango and Ly Cafeteria) which were great. Our friend asked about massages so Huong arranged for someone to come over. Jane was very happy with her massage and the price. She even brought over cakes on my birthday. She went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The security, housekeeper and gardener were all very nice and unobtrusive. There is a great lounge area overlooking the ocean. We would have breakfast there and then spend the day on the beach (lounge chairs and umbrellas provided). You can walk down the beach to several beach hut restaurants for lunch. All these restaurants are very reasonably priced. Evenings were spent going to Hoi an (walking through the old quarter) for dinners and fittings (Hoi an is the custom made shoe and clothing capital of Vietnaman). If you are going to buy clothing and/or shoes do it sooner then later. That way if you don't like the fit they will have time to alter things. Typically the items we ordered were done in less then 24 hours. We loved our time at the house and hope one day we'll be able to return. Thanks Rob, Dave and Jane

“Great stay at Temple beach house”

Reviewed 16 Mar 2014

Spent 3 evenings at Temple Beach house, it was a very enjoyable stay. We were picked up at Danang airport as scheduled, 35 mins later you are at the house, we were greated by Huang at the house, all pre arranged groceries were in the fridge waiting for us. The house is beautiful and very clean, it is very well looked after, it is an open air concept house with partition walls for the bedrooms and showers. The garden areas are amazing and are looked after on a daily basis. Our 8 year old daughter loved the very private beach, just 1 minute walk through the garden. there are a couple of sun shades down on the beach to use. There are no Hawkers on the beach, so it is very relaxing. My only negative observation on our entire stay was the amount of garbage being washed up on shore. I live 5 minutes from the ocean in western Canada, our beaches are fortunately very clean, However, I would say the pollution is minimal, when compered to what I saw in Halong bay a couple days later. To get to Hoi an just pick up the provided cell phone and a cab will be at your door in less than 5 mins, another 5 mins you are in the town. Cab ride is 4-5 CDN dollars. Overall we had a great stay at the house, and would defiantly recommend it to a family, or perhaps two couples travelling together. Thanks for a great stay...

We stayed at the temple beach house for four nights in early Feb. The weather was perfect and staying at an Bang beach made you feel closer to the vietnamese Way of life. Well appointed house. Highly recommend the bar b cue dinner prepared for you. Loved the house.

“Stay here! You won't be disappointed”

There are many reasons to visit Vietnam. I recommend that you include in this list staying at the Temple Beach House. It is a beautiful, inviting, and softly elegant home. The outdoor deck over looks the ocean. A great deal of attention has been give to the entire home. The walk into Hoi an was lovely. The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We left feeling rested, peaceful, and well cared for. All email communication was responded to promptly and with very helpful responses. My husband walked to the small market in the morning, bought fresh fish and returned to our Temple Beach House to cook it. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

“A perfect Beach Retreat”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2014

Awesome location, walk through the tropical garden to an Bang beach, sit on the timber deck sipping cocktails at dusk,Perfect !!! The house is tastefully decorated,a Beach Retreat, the living area opens up onto a lovely terrace & expansive, colorful garden. The 2 bedrooms have very comfortable king size beds with 5 star quality linen and ensuite bathrooms. It is full equipped to self cater but with so many great restaurants in Hoi an we chose to eat out to enjoy the fresh & tasty Vietnamese cuisine. The local staff was delightful, coming each day to care for us maintain the house & garden, they also shopped for us,keeping the stocks of beer, wine and pantry items topped up.Brilliant. The owners of Temple House live locally and were very generous with their time, they gave us info.about excursions from action activities, golf & cooking classes,Green Bamboo was my favorite class, also introduced us to the really local restaurants, fabulous food, inexpensive, sharing with locals enjoying a night out with family & friends. We had an experience that was so special we will return. Cheers Bronwyn Duncan

“A nice feeling of freedom in a beautiful, peaceful and luxious e”

The well-decorated vietnamiese house is perfectly located, not so far from Hoi an down town and closed to the beach (unsupervised but cleaned). The daily cleaning of the house is a plus for an homestay. We will come back with pleasure next time.
