Luxury 5 star rated beach front apartment overlooking golf course and one minute to beach. It is located on the coastal path which runs from Holywood to Bangor so ideal for cycling and walking. Crawfordsburn Country Park is a 5/10 min walk with a cafe famed for home style cooking. The train station is a 5 min walk so easy access to Belfast without taking the car. The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum is 10 mins by car and a 5 min walk brings you to Grey Point Fort, an unusual wartime artillery site.

For family fun, Pickie Fun Park is close by in Bangor and is a great day out with giant pedal swans, Pickie Puffer train and children's electric car track plus a splash pool.

There are many golf courses too, with Bangor, Royal Belfast and Holywood (Rory McIlroy's home course) all within 20 mins drive.

I went here with my 2 children aged 5 and 9. it was perfect for us all. relaxing for me in the evenings when the kids were in bed beautiful views and in the day they loved the beach on our doorstep and easy access to belfast and bangor . Taxis are pretty cheap so we mostly used bangor cabs although there is a train station close by we never used it. Beautiful Clean apartment with everything you need for a great break. I will definitely be back ..already planning trip with the girls here. The place just had a great vibe about it.

This home is absolutely stellar. The gallery of photographs truly reflect the quality of this beautiful home and location. We arrived after dark from a long transatlantic flight and were delighted to find a fantastic home with a warm welcome from Curt. We really appreciated the welcome package of homemade treats and breakfast items. The next morning we awoke to an amazing sunrise over the water and distant tree line. It was breathtaking. We were in awe of this beautiful location. It is an experience that we will not soon forget!

My wife and I are just finishing 8 lovely nights in this apartment and don't want to leave! A superbly appointed flat, overlooking Helen's Bay golf course and Belfast Lough. The beach is 2 minutes walk. The standard of accommodation is excellent, the rooms beautiful and spacious. The flat and area are both quiet and restful. Everything you would expect from a modern apartment was provided including wifi. This would suit 4-5 people well. With just the two of us we felt totally pampered. If you don't know the area the best supermarket options are at a distance in Bangor, Belfast or Holywood. About the only downside is that the apartment only has showers and no bath. If that's an essential for you look elsewhere. But if you are looking for luxury holiday accommodation on the North Down coast within easy striking range of Bangor, Holywood and Belfast you could scarcely do better. Would we come here again? You bet!

We stayed here last summer and returned to find the accommodation in pristine condition, and our two boys were delighted to see new and improved Wi-Fi! However, whilst it is tempting to sit in and just relax, we have been out and about; climbed Slieve Donard in the Mourne Mountains, just under 3,000 ft high and only a 50 minute drive from here, and we have also been swimming at Helen's Bay beach and Crawfordsburn. We look forward to a return visit next year!

We are just coming to the end of what has been a truly memorable week here in Helen's Bay. Our 5 star apartment has been perfect for our needs with all mod cons, plenty of space, and the most sought after views on the North Down coast. The location is great for driving to Belfast and Bangor, and anywhere in between, and there is a good train service just 5 minutes walk away. We'll definitely come back next year!

A relaxing, clean and comfortable bolt hole with of course the views across the golf course and Belfast Lough. Good free internet and I liked the fact the semi-detached house had reliable heating. Will definitely return. The only things I can think of that are missing are comfortable furniture for the balcony, a clothes airer to hang wet clothes to dry and perhaps some larger size saucepans to cook for a group of people (6-10).

We've just returned from 9 nights here. Fabulous views, very well appointed apartment and spotlessly clean. A real home from home if you're travelling for business or pleasure. We were met with freshly made cake and by a friendly, helpful owner. Nothing is too much trouble. Family also stayed in the nearby Bangor Bay Cottage and it too was lovely. Would absolutely recommend both locations. Re Helen's Bay - we've left you a was the only thing missing! Will definitely be back!

We stayed here over Christmas and felt like superstars! Everything has a wonderful professional finish, all mod cons. On our arrival we were treated to a bottle of wine and freshly home cooked fairy cakes, not to mention the kind thought of a cute Christmas tree! The view is beautiful. We'd often just watch the boats come and go as the evening drew in and the twinkling lights appeared from the distant ships, with the blinking of a lighthouse on a far off island. There is a beautiful scenic coastal walk just on your doorstep that leads round to a country park with a handy little cafe for a welcomed cup of tea (and cake if needed!) If you are happy to walk a little further you reach the next town along for more options. Can't wait for the opportunity to come back in the summer!
