“vi må sige at det var perfekt”

Reviewed 7 Mar 2015

“Nice friendly place”

Reviewed 6 Mar 2015

Very nice and lovely place to spend your vacation. Very friendly and helpful staff. The bungalows are vey clean and are well equiped. The garden is very nice and is very enjoyable. You feel very safe staying in Villa Monique. A place most recommendable. A place to return to.

“A wonderful 10 days here!”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2015

This villa is exactly as advertised and is very comfortable & extremely affordable. The Wi-Fi worked great, I was even able to watch a full movie one night. Staff is excellent and helpful. The gardens are expertly kept and you can arrange transportation, safari tours and other places to see with Robert and you'll find the cost is much better than the "big" company prices. Thanks for a really wonderful and relaxing stay, I would recommend this villa to anyone interested in travelling to Diani Beach or looking to save money. Also, so much nicer to have the personal touch and privacy this property gives it's guests. :)

“Great place and staff”

Reviewed 10 Jan 2015

We liked the place som much that we got back for a second time The houses are perfect for the big family, with two rooms and a spaceous attic it don't get crowded It's a short walk to the beach, and this is the best part of the beach in Diani White sand and not to much coral near the beachfront makes it lovely for both children and parents Geoffrey really has green fingers and is constantly improving the garden New wonderful flowers is placed at the porch every day He is always glad to help with information or other tasks Miriam keeps the interiour in good, clean order, and helps with the laundry Robert, the caretaker is a new aquaintance for us, and is just excellent Always a smile on his face and ready to help us with anything we may need He arranged a safari in Ngtuni, a great place with a big varity of animals Unfortunately we did not se any big cats (lion, sheeta, leopard), there was tracks every morning, but the grass was high due to rain, so they hid there All in all, a great place and wonderful staff

“Perfect Holiday Villa”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2014

We stayed at Villa Mwangi and were very pleased with the services and welcome we received. Villa is in very convenient location: 5 - 10 min to the beach and 5 min to the main road. Villa is surrounded by gorgeous garden and there is a small pool where you can chill out. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and we always had hot water. Robert, the housekeeper, was extremely welcoming and even offered to take us to the Shimba Hills! What a great personal service which you cannot find in any 5* hotels. A big thank you Robert, Miriam and Geoffrey who made our experience unforgettable! Do not look anywhere further if you are after comfort, friendly staff and value for money.

We stayed there with two of my friends for 2 days last week (17th and 18th October). It is a breathtaking cottage, very spacious, well kept, clean, with all utilities provided. The caretaker is an amazing guy (thanks Robert) who made us laugh :) and is quite lively. The help are very friendly, and Otieno made us delicious meals while there. Not to forget the landscaping which was out of this world! Awesome place. I look forward to returning again.

“Nice villa for the price”

Reviewed 20 Oct 2013

This is a very nice villa for the price. I stayed there for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. As many others commented, the place is clean and decent; staff are friendly; Its definitely worth the money. I will come back if I ever go to Diani again.

“Much more that I have expected”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2013

Diani Beach July 2013 I passed a week at Villa Mangwi in Diani beach on last July 2013. I am a tour operator who well knows Kenya and I am obviously particularly exigent. I made the reservation through Tripadvisor basing on the pretty positive comments of other guests who had a stay down there. I not only confirm the excellent notes of the place, good resort, good price and friendly staff, but I have to add that under certain aspects the place reached the excellence. We had for example a fantastic cook, Augustine, an unforgettable old man who prepared for us local specialties which I never tasted nor in the best restaurants of Nairobi and Malindi. The cooking service was free of charge but I was more than happy to generously tip him. Robert, the tenant offered us to visit Simba Hills, a little safari not asking anything but the coverage of the expenses. I cannot say he will do the same for the next guests and he probably did it by courtesy or because it was still low season but we have appreciated a lot. I definitively and enthusiastically recommend this resort
