“Large and Relaxing Spot in Rome”
My aunt and I required a place with two beds during our 12 days in Rome. Simone's place was just the ticket. He made it very easy to check in and check out. The place was cleaned halfway through our trip and we just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Instead of a busy street outside, there was a farmer's market each morning. The location was close to Termini but in a great neighborhood. We walked everywhere, enjoyed fresh fruit every morning, and a vast selection at the wine store around the corner. The apartment was much larger than expected, was the perfect temperature all day due to the cross breeze, and had more than enough room to not feel like we were stepping on each other's toes. The bathroom was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfy. I would definitely stay here again if I came back and urge friends to use his place if they came to visit.
“Amazing location - perfect host”
Simone is a fabulous host and the apartment is both central and beautiful. The markets are outside the front door every day and most attractions are within easy walking distance. It was such a great apartment, it really felt like we became part of Roma, wish we could have stayed longer!
“Simone's Suite is sweet!”
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Simon's Suite. Right from the first contact, Simone was gracious, hospitable and flexible. The apartment is spotlessly clean, brightly lit, well equipped (including the kitchen), comfortable in every way and extremely convenient to transportation, sites and shopping. The internet works very well. This Termine neighbourhood is a mix of locals and tourists. There is a wonderful patisserie and deli right next door with ready-to-eat offerings. There is a pleasant restaurant on the other side and a cafe and gelateria right across the street. A full supermarket is only a couple of blocks away. The front window opens onto the daily (except Sunday) street market below. The vendors were extremely friendly and helpful as we purchased fruit, vegetables and other products. It was a great way to greet each day. We highly recommend this accommodation and will happily return here on our next visit to Rome.
“Service Minded Owner”
Great apartment in this price point, very convenient location. Owner Simone provided excellent service, responsive via email and very helpful during our stay. An easy walk from the Roma Termina which was useful with two metro lines converging there. Daily market on the street in front gave our stay a nice neighborhood feel. Noise from market referenced by other reviews was not a problem The restaurant next door and restaurant La Familia are good near by options for late arrivals. Location was fine but not much going on at night in the immediate area.
Simone is a gracious host. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and a cell phone. The apartment is on the lst floor and the block is number 37. It has all the facilities you need for a comfortable apartment. I was worried about the bed but was pleasantly surprised to have a very comfortable king size bed with comfortable pillows. The kitchen is fully equipped.Air con was great with the temperature hitting 40 deg outside. Every morning you are greeted with a wonderful aroma of fresh bread from the bakery below. It is a colorful place to live with all the activity of a daily market below and a restuarant next door. Tried the hairdresser three doors up and was satisfied with the result. Termini station and buses to all parts of Rome are 7 minutes away. We actually mastered the bus system which can be complicated but once you master it Rome is at your doorstep literally. You also have a great dad who was very helpful. Thanks Simone for lovely apartment!
“Great apartment within easy reach of transportation.”
Great apartment. Simone was very friendly and helpful. Within easy distance from the main train station. Metro and buses close by so we were able to explore all the main tourist sites with ease. Would definatley stay again if visiting Rome. Great for first time visitors.
“Very Nice but a little noisy in the wee early morning hours.”
This apartment is well equipped with everything you need to make your trip enjoyable. We cooked breakfast every morning and even enjoyed the fresh fruit from the open air market below on the street. However, be aware the vendors set up their goods very early each morning so it starts getting loud on the street around 4:00 am. The apartment is close to the Train and subway system. You will not have any problems getting to where you want to go. There is one king size bed and a smaller bed in a loft in the back of the apartment. The loft would be best for kids. Simon is very pleasant and helpful. He even has an cell phone for your use while staying in the apartment. Try the Itialian restuarant 2 doors down...its great. I'm giving this apartment a 3 star rating because of the noise on the street each morning. Hope you find this helpful and you enjoy your stay in Rome.
Simone's Suite is a lovely, centrally located apartment. The design is compact and elegant, and the apartment is thoughtfully equipped. I am so glad we didn't stay in a hotel!
“really nice appartment in the heart of rome”
The apartment was very beatyfull and there were so many little charming details for e.g. a city map and tickets, different addresses or a italien cell phone. It was so nice to stay in a apartment at the time in Rome. When we come bach to Rome, we will certainly book this apartment again.
