Description

Enjoy this updated 1890's two bedroom, one bathroom duplex in Jefferson Park, which is close to Denver's best attractions. While not right downtown, it is an easy walk to Mile High Stadium (aka Sports Authority Field) to watch your favorite football team, the Denver Aquarium, Elitch Gardens, the Children's Museum, restaurants, grocery shopping, and trendy boutiques. A great coffee shop and other restaurants are just a block away. The high ceilings give the place a spacious feel. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a twin bed with a new matress. There is a small TV in the living room (but no cable). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook at home. Enjoy relaxing in the fenced backyard with lounge chairs and a patio table or walking to nearby Jefferson Park. Smoking is allowed on the outside patio. Sloan's Lake Park is about 1 mile west. You can be hiking in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in just 30 minutes by car. Ski resorts are 1.5 hrs to 3 hrs away depending on where you are going and I-70 traffic. I have wi-fi, washer/dryer, a small tv in the living room (no cable though, just regular channels!), all the sheets and towels you need, and all the kitchen essentials. Enjoy the backyard, but please be mindful of the neighbors, expecially after 10 pm when I ask you to limit your noise.

Getting around

My place is about a 25 minute walk to downtown. The best way to get to downtown if you don't want to walk is by Uber, Lyft, or taxi. There is a bus but I prefer the other methods. There is also a bus to Boulder if you are venturing out and you can catch it from Union Station, downtown.

When I am in town, I live just next door and am available to answer any questions and give suggestions about what to do in Denver and Colorado.

House rules

Smoking is not allowed in the house but is ok on the back patio as long as you pick up all your trash. The house is not appropriate for parties. Out of respect for the neighbors, sitting outside and talking/making noise is not allowed after 10 pm. For more than 3 guests, an extra fee will be charged per night. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement and for an extra fee. All pet waste must be picked up by the pet owner.
