“A welcome break”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2013

What a pretty location for a lovely, comfortable appartment which has everything you could possibly need. The owners were welcoming and helpful, keen to do everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We found Limoux to be a lively little town with a good choice of eateries, river walks, places to visit and a French market - all within easy walking distance from the apartment. Limoux is also a good base from which to explore the area - the mountains, the sea and historic cities an easy drive away. We had a great break and plan to return during 2013 and hope to see more of the sun this area is famed for on our second visit.

Response from the owner Thank you for your kind comments Linda & Jim, look foward to seeing you again! Deborah & Tony

“This newly refurbished apartment was an absolute joy, we had a r”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2013

We had a great time in the apartment which was fabulous with some excellent touches - luxury and comfort (we've even copied a couple of their ideas for home!). It's location is superb with everything you need in easy reach, just a couple of minutes walk from the river on one side and the town square on the other, and a short walk to the railway station. Debbie was most helpful whilst making our reservation, giving good advice on transfers, the location of the apartment and suggestions on what we may like to do during our stay. We will definitely return.

Response from the owner Thank you Lynda and Alan, look forward to your next visit.

“A Perfect Break That Exceeded Our Expectations!”

Steve and I recently stayed at the newly refurbished "Le Petit Jardin Residence" This was a return trip to Limoux and therefore knew what a picturesque and historic part of France we were going to. The property, located in the highly regarded petite ville area of Limoux has good parking and is tucked away behind a high wall. On entering Le Petit Jardin Residence, it lives up to its namesake, as you are greeted by a picturesque garden area, available for you to use, if the fancy takes you. The property itself is spacious and equipped to a very high standard - you will want for nothing! The heart of the town, just 5 minutes walk away, is the place de la République, a wide square with some fine stone arcading and a number of timber framed houses. Here you will find a good selection of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes! An added bonus, if visiting Limoux between January and March it is Carnival season - this adds to the fun in Limoux as the Carnival works its way through the Cafes in the square! Our hosts, Debbie and Tony were very friendly and helpful, they are able to answer any number of questions you may have - from which is the best bakery for your morning baguette to the geography and history of the Languedoc region . Steve and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Debbie and Tony for a great stay in a superb property and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Response from the owner Thank you , Sue and Steve, look foward to seeing you back inn Limoux soon!
