A timber A-Frame "Gingerbread House" built on stumps on the slopes of Weedon Hill, where the karri forest meets the Inlet, just a few minutes from picturesque Denmark and the Ocean Beach Inlet.

The holiday retreat with Scandinavian character and charm offers luxury, comfort and cosiness for the romantic minded and families with older children. Green Leaves A-Frame truly offers all the ingredients for a relaxing and enchanting holiday at a home away from home. The open-plan design ground floor consists of lounge, dining room and kitchen, offering a comfortable and relaxing living area with a sliding door opening onto the wide verandah. Also located on the groundfloor are laundry, toilet and bathroom facilities. The A-Frame has exposed beams and polished Jarrah floors on the ground floor, which gives it a warm ambience. There are four roof windows on the groundfloor, bringing the forest into the house and allowing light to stream into the living area.

The verandah spans across the entire width of the A-Frame. A gas BBQ and outside furniture makes it a favourite place to relax and watch the birds. Kookaburra families visit regularly and can be hand-fed. At night, switch on the floodlight to marvel at the gigantic karri trees, where possums and bats lead an active nightlife.

A staircase leads to the top floor, where the bedrooms are located. Both rooms have cathedral ceilings. Off the main bedroom, a "staircase to heaven"can be climbed to a loft. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. A king sized single bed is located in the loft off the main bedroom.

The A-Frame caters for 4 to 5 guests.

We were there at the end of March and there wasn't any issues and this hasn't been a previous issue. However the cabin was empty for 4 nights before you arrived and sounds like the mice got in and where having a field day! Our housekeeper Sue is currently dealing with this issue on our behalf and we will also take on the other suggestions and update the soft furnishings and manchester. To address the loft bed, it is rarely used and we do advise on the confirmation letter that you have to make it up if you want to use it. As for the towels, they have been replaced with new towels and we've just finished upgrading the kitchen and bathroom so it is much lighter and brighter. Thanks again for your feedback. If Nathan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
