Self-catering holiday house in the heart of the historical Albayzín quarter of Granada with wonderful views to the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens.

This lovely and cosy town house has been comfortably furnished to provide ideal accommodation for couples and families alike. It is located in a pedestrian street in the historic center at about 2 minutes walking distance from Plaza Nueva. It enjoys a wonderful and direct view to the Alhambra, the Generalife gardens and the Sacromonte.

On the ground floor you will find a bedroom with a large double bed (150 cm x 190 cm), the kitchen and the bathroom. The entire first floor is a cosy open lounge with double sofa-bed (135cm x 180cm) for 2 people, dining area and nice views to the Moorish Alhambra Fortress-Palace. From the roof terrace you will enjoy spectacular open views not only to the Alhambra but also to the Generalife gardens and the entire Sacromonte valley.

The house completely furnished and equipped with all mayor commodities. In the kitchen, you will find a gas cooker, fridge, washer/dryer, microwave oven, mixer, kettle, coffee-maker, etc. An hair dryer, iron and ironing board are also available. The bathroom is equipped with a shower over bath tub, toilet and basin.

The house is fully air-conditioned. The heating works via heat pump. A cot is available on request. There is also colour TV, digital satellite with international channels, audio equipment with CD player, phone and wireless Internet access.

The house lies in the historic Albayzín quarter of Granada that is recognized by UNESCO as Heritage of Mankind together with the Arabic Alhambra and Generalife palaces and gardens. You should also see the Cathedral, Royal Chapel, Charterhouse, the interactive Science Museum, etc. Don't miss the food and try the famous tapas. You might also want to visit Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarra Valley, the tropical coast, the troglodyte cave quarter of Guadix, ... Don't worry, there is enough to see and enjoy for everybody in and around Granada.

Response from the owner We are sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your stay at our property and we apologize for any inconvenience that we might have caused. As you know, our holiday home lies in Granada's historic Moorish Albayzín quarter. This neighbourhood is protected as Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO. It preserves its historic character and traditional elements such as the cobblestone pavement. It lies also almost entirely on a sometimes quite steep hillside. Hence, the access to this part of the city is frequently through stairs and sometimes quite steep streets. Nevertheless, our house itself lies in a street with a very gentle slope. The window of the bedroom such as all other windows close very tightly and protect the inside from noise. There is also quiet air-conditioning and heating that allows you to keep the windows closed and thus, avoid noise arising from people passing by. If one keeps the windows open, however, noise from the street will be unavoidable at any floor of the house. There is a public square nearby where people can gather at any time. Sometimes these people don't respect the rules of good conduct and lack due respect of the neighbours. If this were the case, we would have been pleased to call the police asking them to restablish order.
