“Perfect in Every Way”
Even better than the pictures. Perfect location, top notch apartment. Great value. A terrific place to fall in love with Seville
“Excellent Option for Feria week”
During a very busy week in Sevilla we found the Maestranza apartment a real refuge and a very comfortable place to recover from our busy days attending the Feria and enjoying the many delights Sevilla offers. The location can´t be beat with easy access by foot to the bullring, the numerous restaurants within a hundred meters from the door, and a 15 minute walk to most of the principal tourist attractions such as the Cathedral, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the Arenal and Triana just across the river. The main shopping area including the Corte Ingles department store is only 10 minutes away (it has a well stocked basement supermarket with everything you may need to keep in the ample refrigerator in the apartment). The amenities offered are as described, the AC works very well in keeping the place cool and the washing machine is very modern, ample and very easy to operate. Despite its great location, the apartment is on a very quiet street with little vehicular traffic and we had no trouble getting a good night´s rest. Carmen, the representative who met us at the appointed time of arrival, gave us a very detailed orientation to the apartment and all its features including clear instructions on the operation of all the equipment. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend this apartment and will plan to stay there on my next visit to Sevilla.
“Ideal location and comfortable apartment”
The location is ideal, only five minutes from the Cathedral or the main shops or the river and there are nice restaurants very close by. The apartment is smart and modern and reasonably well equipped and very clean, as is the building too. There was a good wi-fi connection and a decent 32" tv and there is a modern lift if you need it.
“Beautiful and spacious flat in a great location”
I stayed here in January with my mother and husband for five days. This apartment is really the perfect place to stay when visiting Seville, especially for first time visitors. We decided to use the meet and greet service and the gentleman who met us was very nice and pointed out some local sights on the drive to the apartment.Carmen greeted us at the apartment and we were allowed to check in right away even though we were early. The apartment itself was beautiful and provides a lot of privacy between rooms. The lower floor has a double bedroom and another bedroom with two singles, while the master bedroom and terraces are located upstairs. This suited us perfectly as my husband and I could stay up late without disturbing my mother, who went to bed earlier. The rooms are well decorated and there are a lot of small details that make it more comfortable, like reading lamps and lap blankets. The streets are quiet. The location was outstanding. The Cathedral is just a short walk (5-10 mins) away, and the bullfighting ring even closer. Despite being close to many of the tourist attractions, the area is still full of local families, restaurants, and shops. You don't feel like you are trapped in a hotel/souvenir shop zone full of bad restaurants. The only slight problem we had was when leaving. Upon check-in, we were told that we could leave our bags at the office while we walked around before leaving for the airport. When we went to the office they were closed, so we were not able to do that. I think this was down to a miscommunication as there were several holidays around the time. In the future I would probably email or phone the day before to confirm. Despite this small glitch, I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Our 2 bedroom apartment was in a fantastic location - walking distance to alcazar, cathedral, town center, Triana etc. We even walked to Plaza de Espana. It was quiet too - and our favourite tapas bar at end of street ( La Brunilda). The organisers were very efficient and helpful. Great facilities in apartment and comfortable beds. We would not stay anywhere else in Seville!
I stayed here with family over the Christmas period and cannot express how wonderful the apartment is and how friendly the staff are that manage the place. I decided to stay at this apartment after reading the glowing reviews on trip advisor and can only add that everything written is true. The apartment is clean, modern, spacious and has a great private terrace which provided some much needed sun during our stay. Staff were very helpful and when we realised that our towels hadn't been changed on the requested day, we immediately rang the contact number (everything is briefed and given to you upon arrival)and received an apology and a promise that they would be delivered within the hour (this was Christmas eve too!) Unsurprisingly someone arrived after 30mins with the requested towels. I think this speaks volumes as to the excellent customer service we received and if i ever decide to go back to Seville, I will almost certainly be staying here. Fully recommend it.
“Great apartment, great location, great service”
The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. If you do have any small problems, the team that run it are incredibly responsive and helpful. We did have a few issues but as they were all fixed within minutes (literally) we could not complain. The location is very central, and ideal for walking to all major sights and many restaurants / bars. In Seville this means that there is nowhere to park. So, if you do have a car I recommend using the car park provided by the owners which is convenient and saves a great deal of trouble. Travelling with two eighty year olds in our party meant we really appreciate that the apartment could be used by them without having to climb any stairs.
“A perfectly placed apartment”
I stayed at apartment 4 for three nights over Christmas and the apartment could not have been better. It was on a typical narrow street which was always quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and a wealth of cafés and bars. The apartment was modern and very clean and everything worked perfectly . My son enjoyed the wifi and I loved the heating which meant the apartment was always welcoming and cosy when we returned to it after hours of walking around this beautiful city.
“Great modern apartment in a superb location”
From the first indication of interest through to post departure the owner of the property was a delight to deal with. He provided lots of information, organised airport meet and great and dealt with any queries quickly. The apartment lived up to our expectations. We were a group of 4 (all over 60) - a married couple and two singles - so the availability of 3 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms was perfect. The kitchen was modern and well equipped and we managed to cook dinner for 7 adults one evening. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival. We did have an issue with power supply but this was quicly rectified. We were met at the apartment by an agent who provided plenty of information about local facilities and places of interest. She was very thorough and spoke excellent english. The lounge, whilst a bit on the small side, had two sofas and a large flat screen TV which had both spanish and international channels. At the top floor there was a terrace area with table, chairs, a couple of loungers, a large sun umbrella and a small washing line. The availability of a washing machine and sun terrace for drying clothes were very welcome. The apartment was quiet and located on the third floor so the lift, shared with one other apartment, was very useful. It is located in a quiet street although only a minute from a very lively area with Tapas bars, bakeries, restaurants, and clubs. It is also a stones throw from the river, the bull ring, and only a few minutes from the Cathedral, Giralda Tower, and alcazar which are must sees. A couple of tips - the nearesr supermarket is in Calle Zaragoza and in the same street there is a Hospitality Training hotel which has excellent meals at reasonable prices, close by there is an 'International' bar with a wonderful selection of beers. If you are self catering also visit the two markets one close by, the larger one on the other side of the river over the Isobella II bridge. Highly recommended by all the guests.
The information about the apartment and transport to and from the airport was very good. the apartment was good value, in a good location but quiet, great place for a short break.
