Description

Threshing Barn is one of 4 barn conversions tucked away down a long tree-lined driveway, set in 12 acres of Cornish countryside near the River Camel, half-a-mile from the small market town of Camelford, North Cornwall.

Large beamed open-plan living/dining room with high pitched ceiling, exposed rafters, rugs on oak floor and French doors to small balcony. Shaker-style kitchen area with beech worktops and oak floor. Double oven. Lower ground floor: Double bedroom (5ft brass bed). Two twin bedrooms. Bathroom with shower over whirlpool bath and toilet. Wi-Fi. Outside BBQ. 4* Gold Visit Britain grading. Non-smoking accommodation.

Numerous footpaths lead from the driveway into the heart of Camelford and surrounding countryside. Serious walkers can try the South West Coastal Path. The North Cornwall coast is only 5 miles away.

Camelford is an ideal base for exploring some of Cornwall's finest beaches and coastline, together with the expanse and solitude of rugged Bodmin Moor. Camelford Leisure Centre offers a 20m indoor pool, fitness studio and tennis courts, and the town has numerous shops, cafes, takeaways, as well as a pub, library, banks, art gallery and park. Golf and horse-riding are available one mile away.

Threshing Barn has been lovingly converted, providing quality 4* Gold self-catering accommodation with all mod-cons.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
