“Casual luxury in PV”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2013

This was my first visit to Puerto Vallarta -- what a treat. Loved the town -- casual, fun, great food at a range of price points. I felt totally safe walking around by myself, even at night and early in the morning. Safety just wasn't an issue. This apartment is spectacular with generous indoor/outdoor space, a fluid layout, and 5-star amenities like great shower, comfortable beds & linens, well-stocked kitchens (indoor and out). Views from balcony gorgeous and outdoor furniture so comfy that it was sometimes hard to leave and go to the beach. But: beach is right outside the complex! Also terrific pool on property. I did not have a car -- everything was a walk, or an easy cab ride. Be prepared for a constant stream of locals offering their wares and services on the beach. You get good at saying "No, gracias," unless, of course, you want stuff. I did get a foot massage on the beach one day (you can negotiate prices pretty easily), but most of the time the volume of offers was annoying. But overall PV is fun and relaxed--ocean was warm, shrimp was plentiful, and breeze was beautiful. Luxurious and casual was a perfect combo for me.

“Excellent Location, Excellent Penthouse”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2013

This large sunny Penthouse had everything I could ask for right in the heart of what I find the most interesting section of Puerto Vallart the Romantic Zone. It's right in the middle of restaurants, and night life, located on the beach with a wonderful large common area pool and a private splash pool of it's own. It's stylish but comfortable, a place I could relax after a hard day of sightseeing or beach and watch TV and well equipped to entertain for the nights I felt like having friends over. This is actually my second visit in the last year but lazy me did not get one written the first time. Thank You Randy for making my time at PH 8 always special.

“The perfect place in a perfect location”

Reviewed 26 May 2013

Randy was a great host, he greeted us on our arrival and offered suggestions on where to go. The place was amazing with great views and the location was fantastic. I would definitely rent this place again on future trips.

“Penthouse 8 is a ten”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2013

Penthouse 8 at Molina de agua is truly an amazing place. The condo offers stunning views of the beach and the city. You can watch the sunset with a margarita in your hand and catch the fireworks from the balcony. My friends and I spend many a days lounging on the outside couches. I can tell you from experience it's a comfy place to take a cat nap after spending all day at the beach. Randy has a great eye for style. You can definitely see that in everything from the paint color, to the art, to the finishes in this upscale condo. The property offers great access to the beach, a stunning pool, and is located next to some fantastic restaurants and party spots. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to spend my vacation. Thanks, Randy!

“Beautiful Paradise Getaway”

Reviewed 18 Apr 2013

Molina de agua was the most relaxing, beautiful place to go for a nice beach getaway. The property is designed extremely well with an open layout, is magnificently decorated, equipped with really cool outdoor seating, extremely clean, and comes with exhilarating views of the bay. Everything from shopping, restaurants, nightlife are all within walking distance and despite the media, we felt safe to walk all over, night or day! I actually felt safer walking around there than I do at home in Houston! Randy was amazing, he was at the penthouse upon arrival with snacks and margaritas ready to go!! Highly recommend anyone to stay here, family friendly, kids too or a group of friends for a great getaway!! Thanks again Randy, we had a blast and will definitely be coming back!!

“Unforgettable Honeymoon!”

Reviewed 25 Mar 2013

My husband and I stayed at Molino de agua for 8 days for our honeymoon and we had the most amazing time! Everyone who worked there was so friendly and they gave us tips on places to eat and things to do while we were there. The penthouse was absolutely gorgeous. The weather was amazing and many nights we would just sit and look out over the balcony. The view was absolutely breathtaking. I did get sick while I was there and had to go to the emergency room. Being that we were visiting and spoke no spanish, we weren't really sure what we were going to do and how we were going to get to the hospital. My husband called Randy and he pretty much took care of everything. The men at the front gate called for a taxi, Randy told my husband the name of the clinic to relay to the cab driver, and Randy met us at the clinic and made sure I was taken care of. Although that wasn't the best part of the honeymoon, it was an amazing feeling to know that Randy was there to help us no matter what. The rest of the trip went without a hitch. We spent our days lounging by the beautiful pool and walking through the downtown area. We ate amazing food and met some amazing people. Our stay at Molino de agua was, in spite of the medical hiccup, the most amazing vacation we've ever had. We hope to go back someday :-)

“Ph8 is perfect!”

Reviewed 25 Feb 2013

Aside from the amazing views, our PH8 was stocked with all the amenities we needed, from beach chairs to the gourmet kitchen, we had it all. Randy made us all feel at home - he accommodated all our needs, from dinner reservations to stocking our fridge for our arrival, to providing us with a wonderful cook to make us meals. We felt like PH8 was our own home. It is situated in the heart of Old Town, and a block away are restaurants and great fresh produce, fish, meat & gourmet food shopping. We will be back, this time for a longer stay!

“Won't be my last trip to beautiful PV and this fantastic home.”

Reviewed 4 Nov 2012

Being in the hotel business all my life I now stay at condos when I travel. I like the feeling of being at home. This was my first trip to PV and first trip I took out of country on my own. I was apprehensive. But I discovered that PV is a welcoming city. English truly the second language, had no problems getting from airport to Molino, with help of Randy's explicit directions. When I arrived at the complex I was in awe. The staff was so friendly and professional. Randy was there to greet me and show me around and explain the district. What an awesome host and concierge. There was not much he could not tell you about the area. The Penthouse was more than what I would have expected. The pictures do not do it justice. It has such warmth and comfort. The amenities surpassed any other homes or hotels I have stayed in. The pool is huge and the grounds lush and the best part is that it is steps away from the Malecon and the beach. I took a few morning walks alone and never felt threatened. So---this lone woman traveller will return to this same condo in January (family in tow). Counting the days now.

Everything is in short walking distance... be it restaurants, shopping, groceries or even just getting a cup of coffee. The property was well maintained and the personnel very helpful. The Penthouse has every amenity. It has a very nice rooftop pool or you can enjoy the main pool on the property which is very nice. There are two kitchen which make cooking/entertaining for a large group a pleasure. Whether you are a couple or several couples or large family. This Penthouse will accommodate everyone's needs. Highly recommend staying at this property. Hope to go back again soon.
