Located on the Little River, where it winds its way out of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 'Evergreen on the River' is surrounded by mountain laurels, towering Hemlocks and other greenery and has a secluded feel, even though it is just a mile from Townsend. Ford a small stream in the horseshoe bend of the road as you find your way down to the cabin, and as soon as you get settled into this beautifully decorated cabin, you will want to visit the river. Just take the private staircase down to the bank of the clear, clean, cold Little River; where the rhythmic sounds of the rushing water cascading over rocks and boulders will captivate and relax you. During the day, you can roam around the woods or dip your toes in the river, or you may decide to drive up Wear's Valley to Pigeon Forge for some shows or shopping. If you prefer, take the 'river road' up to the Sugarlands Visitors Center and turn left for Gatlinburg or right to go to Newfound Gap and beyond. Evenings can be spent sitting on the deck or in front of the fire pit with your beverage of choice and perhaps enjoying a romantic interlude at your cozy, comfortable log cabin in the woods.

“Heaven on Earth!”

Evergreen is pure heaven on earth. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the beauty around you, look no further! We enjoyed our stay at Evergreen and will be returning again. Billie is a wonderful person to conduct business with. She really takes care of her renters and treats them like family!!!

Location was excellent to Cade’s Cove. View was so nice and listening to the river exactly what I needed. I would recommend this cabin for anyone that needs some peace and quiet for a few days.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to evergreen. It is a lovely cabin with everything needed to make family memories special. Billie is great, and we will definitely be back.
