“Happy with our stay”

Reviewed 19 Jun 2016

We enjoyed our stay. The location was very close to the beach and a pool, and there were chairs and gear we could use which was great. The room itself was quite nice and comfortable, including an excellent entertainment system and patio for us to hang out at. Lawrence was prompt to respond to any questions we had which was appreciated. If you are looking to stay in Wailea or Maui in general, this come recommended.

“Here is a Gem of a Condo!”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2015

The owner of this condo, Lawrence Daluz was easily available and great to work with! The condo is clean, beautiful and comfortable in most every way. This condo is placed in a hotel setting (as it turns out our friends were renting a hotel-owned condo just across the driveway) so we got to see the inside of one of the hotel-owned-and run units. This one was far superior to theirs, though the layout for the unit is exactly the same. The sunny kitchen in this condo was extremely well-supplied (the best we have run across, ever, which we really appreciated) and all the appliances we used worked great. This unit has a stove, a microwave, a 'fridge with freezer and a decent-sized oven. We like to cook our own food (the main reason for getting a condo in the first place), so all of this came in VERY handy. Even the dishes were up-to-date and pretty! The bedroom is really nice and the bed, perfect and super-comfortable (especially for this girl with back issues), the living room is lovely (and beautiful) to relax in and the inside dining area furniture, classy and generous-sized. The lanai is mostly quiet (there is a street nearby but the noise there was minimal in our opinion). The lanai was also surprisingly private and quite well-supplied including a huge gas barbecue (which we didn't try out), and a nice dining table which we used often. There are also two comfortable loungers with pillows on the lanai as well. Though we brought our own snorkeling equipment, Lawrence has included a generous supply of usable snorkeling gear and children's sand toys (though we didn't use any of it.) The only "con" for this unit: The best a/c unit is in the bedroom (it works great) but the living room a/c unit, is added on and has to be closely looked after as it is a bit temperamental - and doesn't really give the living room that fully air conditioned feel (something kind of important to this middle-aged couple). But it was sufficient enough and after being in Maui for about five days, we both finally got used to the warmer larger room (we live in the cooler mountains at some altitude so the heat was a bit of a shock to us the first few days). The internet in this unit can be spotty, too, but it worked well enough for the most part (something we have experienced in other condos and on other islands as well.) All in all I give this condo an A+. It's clean, modern feeling, beautiful, convenient to everything in this area, well-supplied and quite nice to "live in" during a vacation in Maui. I highly recommend it and I also thank Lawrence for keeping it up so well.

“Fantastic condo in an ideal location!”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2015

My dad and I stayed here in September 2014, and were very pleased that the location lived up to the reviews and photos. The rental property was spacious and true to the pictures and description, which is not always the case with online spaces. As divers, the location was perfect for early morning drips to the Kihei boat ramp and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to visit when we weren't in the mood to cook at home. The pool at the complex was also a fantastic alternative to the beach on a very windy day when we didn't want to be attacked by blowing sand. The owner was very easy to work with and I would highly recommend this unit and look forward to staying here again on future trips!

“Beautiful condo :-)))”

Reviewed 5 Dec 2013

We're a German couple. This was our 5th trip to Maui. The first 3 times we enjoyed the very nice Hotels on Kaanapali coast. This time it was our second time that we rent a condo. And we can totally recommand this place. Lovely remodeld with everything you need. I'm a housewife, so we went out for dinner every evening. But breakfast we always enjoyed on the nice balcony. Very nice Restaurants with great fish! But if you prefer to cook, there is nothing in the condo you would miss! Best beaches in the world just minutes abway. We appriciate to use the beach chairs and umbrella very much!! I love the photos and the lights in the evening. And of course the cosy bed! Lawrence is so helpful with everything. Additional housekeeping, no problem, he so friendly and helps right away. We enjoyed every single Moment and we would love to visit more often...we are sad it's so far away. But maybe one day...So enjoy paradise in this great condo!!! Sorry for the "German-English" ;)

“Luxurious stay in a prestigious neighbourhood”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2013

We can't be more happy with the choice we made to stay with Lawrence! at his 5 star gem. The booking is easy and Lawrence is really easy-going and provided a lot of information about the place and the transaction is clear and smooth! The place is exactly described in the picture and description. However, I bet you will only find the comfort to live here once you arrived! Quite a nice view during the day and wonderful experience to wake up in a natural light setting. The studio is fantastic and Lawrence got all the channels you would want to watch. It is great experience to listen to the stereo and relax at the couch. Not to mention a great BBQ machine and outside dining experience, you have a perk over the ocean and it feels like vacation! Palm at Wailea is in a prestigious condo where all the famous hotel was at. You could take a short walk to the shopping mall or famous wailea beach, the views are great! The swimming pool is really nice with a nice view and the stuff there is really friendly. The beauty about Lawrence's unit is that it is totally renovated vs other units in the complex The location is really convenient and you are surrounded by some of the best beaches in Hawaii like wailea beach, Makena state park(big and little beach) and a hidden gem ahihi bay(great snorkeling spot where the fish swims around your legs in shallow water). There are tons of restaurants, convenience stores along s kihei road and a sunset dinner there is a really great experience. It is easier to depart here than west coast Maui to Hana or Haleakana mountain since it is only 20 mins drive from airport. Nearby there is also a beautiful golf course in the south. We love the area and the place we booked and all the neighbor friends and guests we met this time and hope to visit again in the near future!

“Beautiful Condo!!!”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2013

We stayed at Lawrence's condo from august 3 to 8, 2013. The condo is nestled in Wailea, which is a very safe, clean, and affluent area of Maui. The unit is immaculate and newly renovated. Lawrence also provided us with everything we needed to make our stay a very pleasant one (just check in first and see what Lawrence does not have before going out and buying it). The property also has a nice pool in case you don't feel like dealing with sand from the beach. Our friends were so jealous of us and it felt great...haha. Lawrence is very easy to work with and he replies to any questions you have right away. My wife and I plan on returning very soon!

This is such an amazing condo. Great location, awesome cleaning team, modern furniture and features. Lawrence is great and incredibly accommodating. He takes such great care of his condo that as guests you want to do the same, if not more. We stayed close to two weeks and we are planning to stay here again.

“Uniquely modern, walking distance to everything- Absolutely stay”

Reviewed 29 May 2013

Nice quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to beaches and shopping. We picked this place because the decor was fresh and modern (unlike most similar priced units). It didn't disappoint. Everyone that visited said it was furnished nicer than their places. Lots of towels, in-suite laundry was a great plus. Good aircon unit too. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Wailea. The property overall is really nice too. Kids enjoy the pool and nice grassy areas. Very relaxing.

“Great Condo”

Reviewed 6 Feb 2013

We stayed at Lawrence's condo from Jan 14 to 28, 2013. The condo was beautifully renovated and fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay very pleasant. The new king size bed was very comfortable and the condo was very tastefully decorated. The Palms at Wailea is a wonderful condo complex with beautiful landscaping and a great club house and pool. It is very well situated; only a short walk or drive to beaches, stores, restaurants and the walking path along the ocean in Wailea. We really enjoyed everything that Maui had to offer and Lawrence's condo was the perfect home base for our visit. The sunsets are stunning and be can viewed from the Palms or down the street at the beach. Lawrence was great to deal with always willing to give helpful advice on places to see and things to do in Maui. We had a very memorable vacation. Thanks Lawrence, we will definitely recommend your condo to friends and family.
