“In the heart of Howarth”
Four of us (adults) have just returned from a long weekend in Haworth staying at Glenda's cottage on Main Street. We all agreed it was an ideal location for us in the centre of the village, with a restaurant and coffee shop/bakery opposite, and very handy for us girls for dropping off shopping bought at the top of the street before venturing to the bottom! The cottage was very clean, cosy and inviting with a lovely atmosphere and had everything to hand for four people. The bedrooms are clean and bright with the beds very comfortable. It was a real bonus having Glenda buy bread and milk for us after a long trip to get there, as the kettle was on straight away for a hot drink! Thank you Glenda, your cottage is wonderful. There is nothing to criticise. We will be back!
“Perfect Location For Bronte Devotees”
Friendly welcome from the Owner, with a much-appreciated welcome pack of essential foodstuffs. The accommodation was comfy, & despite cold temperatures outside, always cozy. If you like literary history you will really appreciate this location, within a stone's throw from the Brontes & the Parsonage. Liked best - The location: Main Street, Haworth, home of the famous Bronte sisters. Liked least - Due to its popularity, there can be issues with parking. No 3G so WiFi would be useful.
“A home from home!”
My family and I stayed at this cottage during February half term. We had an incredibly warm welcome from Glenda, she ensured we had everything we needed and went above and beyond with her delicious welcome pack. We had everything we needed to entertain our family and friends, plus the children loved the games and Dvds glenda provided. The bedrooms were very comfortable and it really felt like a home from home. We would not hesitate to book again and recommend this little gem of a cottage to everyone.
“The stay at the cottage on the week of my wedding, made it even”
I stayed at the cottage on the week of my wedding with my family. I am so glad we did rather than get a hotel as it was fantastic. The owner Glenda went out of her way to make us feel welcome with a lovely hamper, the rooms were lovely and the location was amazing you could not have been more central. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Haworth!
“A Home away From Home!”
Our stay at 66 Main was more than we expected, from Glenda's warm welcome, to the comfortable beds, and being able to cross the street for a bacon and egg breakfast sandwich! My sister lives in Oakworth and my niece lives in Haworth, so we were able to catch up with them. We caught the bus into Keighley and bought some groceries, and decided that we should have got off the bus on the return trip at the top of the hill, not the bottom! Glenda, you're the best!!
“welcoming, relaxing. perfect position”
Our stay at Glenda's cottage was comfortable, enjoyable and we will definitely rebook in the future. The position of the cottage is absolutely ideal, right in the centre of Howarth main street. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
“We felt very much at home in this lovely cottage in Haworth”
Haworth Holiday cotage is a lovely and homely place to stay. Glenda is so very welcoming. The beds are good and the kitchen had everything you need. If there is any problem Glenda is there to help. The village is very beautiful. When we were there it was very busy with tourists visiting for the day. At 5 in the afternoon everybody left and the village was nice and quiet. The Bronte museum and the wonderful countryside and walks are well worth a visit.
“Great base to explore from”
A great place to stay - I used it as a base from which to see more of the West Yorkshire, somewhere I'd not been before. Good location for Haworth sights, very handy for a nice breakfast or morning coffee. Glenda was hugely helpful, even though I arrived later than usual she was there to let me in and show me around the property and get me settled.
“Lovely cottage in a perfect location”
We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The location in the centre of Haworth was delightful. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the owner had made sure that we were well looked after. We also had great weather ...
“Haworth Holiday Cottage was a haven of peace during a very busy”
I can't think of anything which the cottage didn't have. Glenda provided us with a generous welcome pack which included wine as well as basics. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot and the atmosphere was restful. Although the cottage is right on Main Street, it is surprisingly quiet and private, and it couldn't be more conveniently situated for all amenities. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.
