“Beautiful serene garden”

Reviewed 11 Jul 2013

The garden studio was equipped with everything I needed for my week in Seattle. The animals were adorable and the garden very beautiful and relaxing to rest after busy sightseeing days.

“Peaceful and charming with a garden view”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2013

I stayed in the studio two weeks. The studio is comfortable, very charming and clean. I could live there! The kitchen is stocked with staples so it makes it easy to prepare some meals without having to buy too many basics. I loved the bathroom. It is large with a nice shower. The gardens are beautiful. It was chilly when I was there but the patio area would be wonderful in nice weather. Jane and alice are friendly but not intrusive at all. They checked in once in a while to make sure things were ok. Internet was good. Probably the only downside was that I had to be on the patio to get a cell phone connection.

“Beautiful garden studio”

I had a lovely time at this warm, comfortable garden suite. The hosts were just lovely, friendly and full of good advice on the questions I asked. I loved that they left breakfast items in the refrigerator and we had a little kitchen/dining area where we could relax in the morning. I would highly recommend this for a pleasant place to stay - it was close and convenient to the airport and downtown Seattle.

“most relaxing part of our 3000 mile journey”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2012

We stayed for two nights, and out of fourteen nights (looong awesome road trip) our stay at the studio here was by far most relaxing and rejuvenating. We enjoyed it more than the city of Seattle, actually, and in the future would opt to spend more time in Burien at the garden studio than even look at the city. Jane and alice were incredibly warm and welcoming, and went above and beyond the call of hosting duties. Jane offered us fresh greens from the garden, which I had been craving and was actually going to venture to the grocery store to get. We sauteed them in the kitchen and it was a welcome nutrition boost after road food. The privacy and peacefulness was also a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of hostels. Alice took us on a walk with Tessa (adorable pooch!) on a beautiful trail that lead to the waterfront. The value was affordable, the accommodations amazing, as alice and Jane were. Lovely people, and a lovely time. We plan on returning at the next opportunity without a doubt. Thank you again!!! :)

“Home away From Home”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2012

Seahurst Garden Studio is the best place in the area for a quiet, serene getaway that still keeps you close to all the Seattle sights. It's homey, with a cozy sitting area, comfy bed and a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, and the garden is perfect for reading or meditation.

“Tranquility near Seattle”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2012

Just the loveliest! The two ladies who run this tiny B&B; have thought of everything. The space is charming and beautifully appointed. The garden outside your room is pure magic. The location is about 13 miles outside Seattle (about half an hour). Not super convenient if you plan to travel into the city everyday, but at $85/night it can't be beat. The owners are committed to creating community and keep the price low to make it accessible to women across the economic spectrum. Ps You'll fall in love with the sweet puppy and two stunning kitties.
