“A perfect way to experience an island living.”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2015

Banana Tree Bungalows offer a warm, airy, breezy Caribbean design and décor combined with all modern conveniences necessary for comfortable staying. Huge yard with tropical plants and small, cute lizards – kept our 6-year-old son busy while we were enjoying breathtaking views, sunrises and sunsets on a spacious verandah. Due respect to Tracey and Owen for arranging everything to the smallest details. Few beautiful beaches and restaurants can be easily reached by bus or taxi. Bailey's Supermarket, five-minute walk, small and simple but enough for fulfilling grocery needs. We were doing perfectly fine even without renting a car. The property and the whole area are very safe, people are friendly and helpful. Definitely, this is the place you want to come back. Nothing to say about Antigua, which was our love at first sight.

Response from the owner Thank you for the many and thoughtful ways in which you have expressed your enjoyment of Banana Tree Bungalows. It was indeed our pleasure as hosts to accommodate your family during its first Antiguan vacation. It pleases us to hear of the lasting memories you have made in Antigua and truly hope that your dream of returning will become a reality in the near future. With very warm wishes, Tracey and Owen....

“Clean and comfortable Caribbean charm, in safe, sumptuous surrounds.”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2015

We stayed here for Christmas 2014 with our 5 and 3 year old daughters. The bungalow is very well presented with charming Antiguan accents and a stunning verandah which is comfortably furnished and has unforgettable views. Such a perfect location overlooking the most historic and beautiful part of the island. Peaceful, yet moments from the facilities of Falmouth and English Harbour, with sheltered beaches and coves to explore within a ten minute drive. Great for yacht spotting! A home from home, the bungalow was well equipped and the internal space works very well. Huge, secure garden to play in. The owners were on hand throughout our stay and made us very welcome. We would certainly stay here again.

Response from the owner Hi Jilly and Ross, We are all delighted to hear that you had a wonderful time staying at the Banana Tree Bungalows, Christmas is a lovely time of year to visit Antigua!! We certainly hope that you plan on returning again in the future. Best Wishes, Joanne :-)

“Just perfect”

Reviewed 8 Mar 2014

We received a charming welcome from Tracey and Owen on arrival at No. 1 Banana Tree Bungalows and were wonderfully surprised at the perfection of the location. The cottage was gently and comfortably furnished with all that we needed and it was spotless. It was efficiently run and very easy to live in. We hope to return.

The service was excellent and prompt. the home was well equipped and appointed. It had everything one would need. I liked the location close to town but not too close, near hikes and very quiet. Id recommend this as a great option

“The only place to stay”

Reviewed 13 May 2013

This really is the only place to stay if you are coming to antigua. It offers it all, stunning views, comfortable island living, close walking distance to basic amenities and unlike some stuffy hotel resort you have this piece of paradise basically all to yourself. If you are staying during sailing week then you really are in the heart of fun, never more than 10 minutes from any great party, restaurant or live music event. For simple island living this place offers more than most I've seen. The place was immaculately cleaned, provided air conditioning in bedrooms and living area, offered an amazing welcome pack and comfortable furniture making you feel right at home. All of this was really amplified by the owners of the bungalows, who's warm welcome and attention to detail blew us away. Whatever you are looking for this place has it all.

“Wonderful Bungalow for a Family!”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2013

I absolutely loved this charming Bungalow! It was very close to the Harbour and hubub, yet far enough away for some quiet down time. The owners and manager are very friendly and charming themselves. They are extremely helpful if issues arise. I was grateful for the local cell phone provided, as well as the beach matts! I would definitely recommend this rental! My family and I had a wonderful vacation! Thank you so much!

“Great location with views and very comfortable”

Our 1st time in antigua. We lucked out. The Falmouth and English Harbor area is perfect in every way. The boats are spectacular, the beaches,Pigeon,Rendevous. Nelsons dockyard,Snorkeling at the mouth of the harbor. Shirley Heights and the many great restaurants. The Banana Tree Bungalow was large, comfortable and clean. Everything is there to make you feel relaxed. It's located in a very safe and out of the way place. Great security system and fenced in area. Near is a great old church that fills the Sunday morning air with beautiful singing. We will definetly come back and stay again. Thank You Michael, Ann and family from Marblehead, ma USa

“Outstanding Choice”

Best cottage on the Island. Owners take pride in the cottage, have appointed it well, responsive, clean, quiet, safe location, great view, easy access to Falmouth and English harbor. I will book it again for next January. Ann

Response from the owner Thanks Ann and Michael for the wonderful review. We are all delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the Banana Tree Bungalows and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year!

“Fabulous home away from home!”

Reviewed 21 Feb 2013

Our stay at Banana Tree Bungalows was lovely. Very well-located - close to groceries at Bailey's - where "if you don't find it, you probably don't need it." It's also striking distance from great restaurants in the English Harbour splipway, the very interesting Nelson's Dockyard and beautiful Pigeon Beach. Tracey does a fantastic job making sure people have what they need and are comfortable. I expect this will become a very popular rental choice! We would definitely come back!
