Have a BearFoot 2 Christmas! Best location in town! Pre-Christmas discount!

Before you begin the holiday bustle, find rejuvenation, romance and relaxation here in the amazing Smoky Mountains! We'll even give you a 10% discount so you can buy more gifts : ) Call me!

Note: 'BearFoot 2' has just become pet friendly! We realize 'fur babies' and their 'people' all experience anxiety when they are separated, so we are inviting you to bring your 'babies' along now and make it a family affair! We ask that your dog be crate-trained if you leave it during the day, and during the night. No co-sleeping in our beds plz : ) Thx!

Now, step inside and you'll be delighted. This 720 sf. authentic log cabin borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and boasts over 400 sf. of a screened-in porch, complete with hot tub for your ultimate relaxation. You will enjoy high cathedral ceilings with a two-story glass window front, a cozy living, dining and kitchen area complete with full sized appliances, including all the amenities to complete a delicious meal for two or more. Dishwasher, icemaker, washer and dryer included. Not to mention the comfy queen bed and whirlpool awaiting your romantic rendezvous.Within walking distance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park boundary line, this unique cabin sits up high making you feel like 'king of the mountain' up where the eagles fly. Actually, just a couple of geese, playfully named 'Ned' and 'Jed'. They make their trek daily taking the route of the river bed. Listen and you'll hear them 'conversing' as they fly over. Or just sit and rock on your spacious balcony with the Little Mountain in the distance and marvel at the 'smoke' boiling over the tall range, thus giving the Great Smokey Mountains their name... awesome! This dream cabin is one of the four closest to historic Cades Cove where you'll have to slow down a bit to let the dear and occasional Mamma bear and cubs pass in front of you. Visit the old school house, a mill, etc. and imagine the way things were way back when...In a small, peaceful town like ours, you may have to 'settle' for laid back activities such as hiking, horseback riding, touring the magnificent Smokies, spelunking, geocaching, naturist sightseeing, bluegrass, daylily and old-timer craft festivals, and the most popular being floating a tube for hours on end! The Little River runs the entire length of Townsend (you can walk to it from here) and we are proud to have a three mile bike/walking trail ... lighted! A new and very popular arrival to our little town is the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center and I'll see that you get FREE tickets to tour, just ask! Ahhhh.... relaxation for a change!

Note: seven of our unique cabins .. 'Bearfoot Lodge', 'Genesis', 'Refuge', 'Manna', 'Bearfoot 2', 'Evergreen' and 'BearyTale' all sit on the same lovely one-lane road nestled in the woods, some with River ambience! They are within walking distance to one another as well as the National Park boundary line. Together, they will accommodate 42 of y'all! Book one or all six! Now how cool is that!

“Peaceful Hideaway”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2012

My husband and I stayed at "Bearfoot 2" for our 1st anniversary (or "Honeyversary", as we like to call it)! It was perfect! First off, the town that the cabin is in is so quaint and quiet. Just perfect! We roll up to our cabin (up a 45deg angle to get there- so thrilling!), and we are beaming! The overlook is wonderful, the porch is nice, cool and relaxing, and the hot tub, of course my favorite, was a huge perk! The inside of the cabin was perfect as well. Very cozy, perfect for 2 people. We loved the Jacuzzi in the bedroom (um...don't put too many bath bubbles in a Jacuzzi tub! They multiply much faster than in a normal tub! ha!) Very romantic! The renters even left some Dvds that you can watch on a nice flat screen TV in case you need a little down time at night. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with items you might need. There's a nice grill outside that was useful to us. Overall, it was a great stay! We have been talking about the wonderful cabin ever since we returned! We had such a great "Honeyversary"! We definitely recommend this affordable Romantic Get-Away!
