Welcome to our guest house nestled in a peaceful wooded setting in Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. The entire guest house is for your exclusive use. Sorry, we do accept pets as guests.

The guest house sleeps up to 4 people with 2 bedrooms (queen upstairs, double downstairs) and a pull out sofa. Wireless internet is included.

Our guest house provides all the comforts of home with a full kitchen which is fully equipped with coffee maker, microwave, glasses, dishes, utensils and cooking pots. Enjoy our welcome basket of snacks and breakfast items for your first morning. Relax and enjoy a cup of our complimentary tea and coffee while looking through our and local brochures and maps. For those people who enjoy a meal outdoors, enjoy the privacy of your own outdoor deck, and a picnic table in the woods. Whether it's just a short weekend get-a-way or a peaceful extended stay, you will come away feeling revitalized

In the living room area, select one of our many reading books and curl up in a chair. Choose from a wide selection of DVDs and videos to watch upstairs in the loft. There is also an acoustic guitar in the loft for you to play. Karaoke (and CDs) or Nintendo 64 (and games) are available by special request.

Guests are provided with a fitness area with equipment such as a treadmill and elliptical. A wide variety of hiking trails are within walking distance. Hikers of all fitness levels can enjoy kilometers of trails.

Nanoose Bay is located on a peninsula on east side of Vancouver island just north of Nanaimo and south of Parksville. Our guest house is nestled in the woods yet only a 5 min drive to the beach where there are numerous water sport activities and fishing available. The area is known for its many pristine hiking and mountain biking trails (for all levels of fitness) many that include beautiful waterfalls and ocean views.

The nearest large shopping complex is only 10 mins away and includes movie theatres and a wide variety of restaurants. Also within a 10 min radius is the world class Fairwinds golfing resort and marina. A 15 min drive takes you to Parksville, which boasts a number of tourist attractions for families, including Coombs marketplace. Horseback riding is only a few mins away from our guest house. Take a day trip to BC's capitol city of Victoria which is approximately 2 hours away.

For those of a more adventurous spirit there are the world famous Horne Lake caves for spelunking, and bungee-jumping, zip lining and high ropes at Wild Play in Nanaimo. Nordic and alpine skiing, snow shoeing and tubing at Mount Washington is just over an hour away. Explore Long Beach and Tofino a few hours away on the west coast where Canadian surfers ride the waves!

We provide maps and brochures. After our initial introduction, we give our guest complete privacy. If Cheryl (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
