“Perfect in every way!!”
My family was lucky enough to find this amazing apartment for our 10 day stay in January. The owners are wonderful, both helpful and friendly. The apartment feels like home, (but better) with all of the amenities (flat screen TV with all the channels, well thought out, clean, beautiful & modern kitchen and bathroom, washer & dryer, bookshelf stocked with books about the history of the area, guidebooks with helpful info about sightseeing, etc.) Great sleeping there, too! Linens, mattress, sofa bed, all comfortable and very nice. The apartment is next to a house (the owners') so you feel very safe, and all of the surrounding buildings and park are lovely. (The apartment actually sits on top of a hill, with the front gate opening onto a nice park. Very scenic! The bottom of the hill has the old train station where you can shop, eat, peruse art galleries, or walk 15 mins to the Old City, or catch a bus/taxi, etc.) We really enjoyed everything and can't think of anything we'd change. Highly recommend!
“Grand apartment in superb location complete with super helpful h”
We had a fantastic stay here in this apartment, complete with a courtyard overlooking a quaint park. It was immaculate and comfortable, and the shower was terrific. Clean, modern and all the necessary amenities provided - including WiFi. The location was absolutely perfect. Very private and quiet, yet centrally located with great access to the Old City. The landlord is wonderful and extremely helpful and friendly. We did not cook, but we did fill the refrigerator with lots of food which cut down on our eating out expenses. We could not recommend this apt more highly. We will definitely stay here again.
“Great apartment in great location”
I had a wonderful stay in this apartment. I found it to be clean, modern, with all necessary amenities provided. Jordan was very flexible in arranging check in and check out procedures (I arrived in Israel in the middle of the night, and was able to get in to the apt straightaway). The location, which borders on an adorable little park, is walking distance to the center of town, the old city, the German Colony (Emek Refaim) and the wonderful newly refurbished Mandate-era train station. There is even a 24 hour makolet right around the corner. Bed was super comfortable too!
“Wonderful apt in excellent location with a supportive and friend”
I spent a month in Jerusakem on sabbatical and absolutely loved this apt. The location is perfect for access to the new train station, the German Colony, and great runs I took many mornings to the Promenade. Wonderful landlords who were helpful and friendly. I could not recommend this apt more highly.
One of the nicest short team apartment we've stayed in 9 years of visiting Jerusalem. Nice owner, nice area, very flexible and caring!
“most charming and convenient location in Jerusalem”
Ideal for 1 person or couple, on holiday or business, alike. The flat is confortable and easy to run, equipped with all is needed for a short rental, has a very nice outdoor overlooking a quiet public garden. The location is charming in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Jerusalem, with stunning views of the old city, great scenic walks, a short and pleasant walk to German Colony and to Bethlehem road with its nice variety of cafés and shops. Two 24 hours (including shabbat!) convenience shops are just 2 minutes away. You may take a 15.20 minutes walk, on mostly pedestrian only routes, through an old neighborhhod to both the old city and the city centre. I recommend it; this is my 3rd stay in 2 years.
“Very well maintained & comfortable flat with friendly & helpful”
This lovely flat is very comfortable and modern, and felt like home away from home. It is in an excellent location- only a 15 minute walk to the Old City and a short bus ride from Machane Yehuda (the market area) and Ben Yehuda street. The owner is very friendly, and is knowledgeable about things to do in Jerusalem and the rest of Israel. He is a great resource if you need any suggestions. The flat also comes with a parking spot and has a washer/dryer, which we found to be very helpful. My husband was especially impressed with the shower.
“Great home base for exploring Jerusalem”
My husband and I stayed here for 6 weeks upon moving to Jerusalem and it served our needs very well overall. The owners have done a wonderful job ensuring that every detail about the property is neat, clean, functional, and representative of the kind of high quality you would expect in america. While the apartment is small, the space is used very efficiently - despite having 9 suitcases' worth of things, we were able to pack most of it away. The bathroom in particular is really nice with beautiful tiling, the bed linens were of a nice quality, the bed was comfortable, and the lighting was cozy. The cable TV and high-speed Internet worked without a hitch every time, and the kitchenette was sufficiently equipped to cook for ourselves during our stay. The owners, who live next door, are responsive but not intrusive. The neighborhood has a nice feeling, and there is a park right next to the apartment that has swings and is a favorite hangout for neighborhood kids. We walked almost everywhere in central Jerusalem from there. Especially nice is the Sherover Promenade that winds up into the hills overlooking the Old City - it's about 5K roundtrip and makes for a very nice morning or evening walk. Overall, a great home base for exploring Jerusalem.
“Very comfortable and homey; Convenient to Kotel”
What a nice apartment complete with courtyard overlooking the adjoining just renovated park. Very comfortable apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Private and quiet. Centrally located with great access to the Old City. The only time that I needed a taxi was for arrival and departure. All good! 2 thumbs up!
“Most beautiful and convenient place to stay!”
We stayed here with our young children for Passover. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to the Old City and the views were stunning. There was a park next to the apartment that was a great convenience and the kitchenette was fully stocked. We did not cook, but we did fill the refrigerator with lots of food which cut down on our eating out expenses. The bathroom was gorgeous with a terrific shower and there was a lot of space, efficiently done, for our belongings. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would love to stay here again. The location was absolutely perfect.
