“We will be back!”

Reviewed 2 Aug 2014

We had a great time at Amelia Island. The condo was in immaculate condition and very well stocked. The area has a good mix of beach and non-beach activities. Highly recommend.

“Comfortable, nicely decorated condo in serene setting”

Reviewed 2 May 2014

This condo is decorated nicely with very comfortable seating areas and beds. The location is ideal...close to beach and a short drive to Fernandina and amelia Plantation and surrounding areas. The setting is lovely and quiet in an area of beautiful old trees. You would never know civilization is down the driveway! Owners are friendly and very easy to deal with...checking in is a breeze. Wonderful place for a get-a-way!

Response from the owner Thanks Linda! I look forward to your visit next year..........or before. I love having such wonderful guests who come back year after year!

“Just perfect!!!”

Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach must be the best kept secret in vacation destinations! Lovely, quaint, quiet, and so enjoyable!! This unit was the icing on the cake!! The owners thought of everything a visitor could possibly need to make their stay easy and stress free. The unit has a lovely beach side theme throughout, very tasteful and a little whimsical..all well coordinated to make you feel at home. Our favorite nesting spot was the back porch. A view of the private woodsy outdoors just exude such peacefulness and calm. The unit was perfect and the location was perfect..just minutes from the Jacksonville airport, just a lovely short walk to the beach, just a hop and a skip to the grocery (a very nice, new, clean Publix), and just minutes from "old town" Fernandina. The owners are delightful to deal with..very accessible by phone or email. I highly recommend this condo for the ideal vacation!!

Response from the owner Thank you so much Mindy! I love hearing that my guests have a nice vacation on Amelia Island and that my condo helps contribute to that. Looking forward to your return for a future vacation.

“Our Vacation Home - First Choice”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2013

This was our second stay in this condo. Lovely and peaceful. We spent our honeymoon here in March and came back in October to visit friends and family. We will keep you at the top of our list for any visit to Fernandina Beach. Tim and Jessie are wonderful hosts - when we forgot the top of our wedding cake in the freezer they kept if for us and brought it to Virginia on their trip. Thanks so much and we will be back!

Response from the owner Thank you Mike. I am glad your second visit was as nice as the first. Tim and I look forward to your next visit to Fernandina Beach. Enjoy your wedding cake top on your first anniversary!

“Comfortable condo, close to the beach and restaurants!”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2013

This 2Br/2Ba condo was perfect for our family of 3. Jessie has stocked it with everything you will need: kitchen utensils, extra towels/washcloths, beach chairs and toys. The kitchen photo in this ad makes the room seem smaller than it actually is - there is plenty of room to make lunches and dinners. The location is excellent - in a quiet, shaded group of condo buildings with a large, clean pool, only a short walk (or drive) to the beach. There is ample parking at the beach so it was easier to drive with a baby and all the gear. It's less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Fernandina for excellent dining and shopping. Jessie is very accommodating and works hard to ensure your stay is relaxing and memorable. Excellent value for a nice place to stay that's very close to the beach!

Response from the owner Thank you so much Sarah for the nice comments. I am glad you and your family had everything you needed for a great family vacation. I want my guests to have a comfortable stay while enjoying all that Amelia Island has to offer. I hope you will return if your plans call for another Fernandina Beach vacation.

“Amazing time at lovely beach home.”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2013

This was our first visit to the area and really enjoyed the beach, shopping, history and restaurants there. The owners were so nice and easy to work with. The condo was spacious (two adults and two teenage girls)and accommodated us very well. I especially liked that it was clean, well maintained, and full of amenities like linens, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella and beach cart. It was so nice not to have to pack all that into the car. The kitchen was well equipped. Amelia Landings is a beautiful community with lovely shade trees and landscaping. The pool area was very nice. The walk to the beach was comfortable along a shaded boardwalk. There is a Publix very close buy as well as Walgreens, and most anything you could look for.

“Love this vacation rental!”

Our family has stayed here twice and we have had a fantastic experience each time. We fully intend to visit again and enjoy not only Fernandina Beach, but also the restaurants and the condo, which is fully prepared with items for the beach, linens, dishes, and anything else to facilitate your visit to the island. We also enjoyed the pool and just the general atmosphere. You will love it!

“Just like home...but with a beach!”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2013

This was our first time to rent while staying on the island, it was so comfortable and convenient. Jessie was so attentive and accommodating, very helpful! The condo was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved eating breakfast each morning on the screened in porch, and visiting the pool. We loved the location; easy access to the beach, restaurants, and downtown, the comfortable beds and linens, and the fast Wifi. Thank you Tim and Jessie for all of the personal touches like DVD movies, board games, beach towels, toys, and equipment, a well equipped kitchen, and so much more. I especially appreciate the cleanliness, kudos to the cleaning staff. We visit amelia at least 5 times a year (we have family there), and plan to return! Wonderful experience!

“Terrific value and great location with welcoming extras included”

Reviewed 31 May 2013

Perfect for couples or small families in a lovely location set amongst the live oaks. Private feel yet right off the main road leading to the beach. The large enclosed patio with lounge chairs & extra dining table was very relaxing. Extra beach towels and beach chairs (even a nifty wheeled carryall to take them to beach) was much appreciated. Well stocked kitchen and tasteful decor. Because of the trees, there's not a lot of light reaching the patio. Also, there was some noise from the condo above. Overall, though, a very nice place for a great price.

“Home away from Home!!”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2013

We went to amelia Island for Spring Break, and found this condo to be just what we were looking for. All furniture was very comfortable, and felt like home for us. Everything we needed was provided -- from dishes, to dish soap, to laundry soap and dryer sheets, even foil, plastic wrap, paper towel, and napkins. Condo is very well equipped; they also have everything you need for a day at the beach - beach towels, cooler, chairs, boogie boards, and a cart to haul it all. It was maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach, but along a shaded boardwalk (off the main streets), so even the walk was pleasant. Screened in back porch was a huge plus we enjoyed our evenings out their playing cards. Tennis court was a nice bonus and in good shape!! This was our first trip to amelia Island, much less "touristy" than Daytona Beach. The island itself has everything you need, beautiful beaches, nearby restaurants and grocery and drug stores. The town of Fernandina Beach (which you have to drive to) is a nice historic town, with lots of little shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed a day at Fort Clinch State Park, touring the old fort, taking a short hike where we saw some juvenile alligators, and spent the rest of the day picnicking and at the beach there. Savannah, Ga is only a two hour drive away and we went there for a day trip as well. One last place to consider visiting is Cumberland Island National Seashore -- we read that they have wild horses on the island (you take a ferry out of St. Mary's, Ga), but make a reservation -- we didn't and were turned away as the boat was full -- our only disappointment on an otherwise wonderful vacation. Jessie is a wonderful landlord -- the place was spotless, paying for the condo through PayPal was a great bonus for us so we could use a credit card to gain more air miles for our next vacation, and she returned our deposit the same week we came home. If you have questions, just ask her, she was very patient in answering all of mine!!

Response from the owner Thanks so much Vicki for the great review. I hope you and your family will come back for another vacation. We love having guests who find our little piece of paradise as wonderful as we do! Remember, there is still Cumberland Island to explore!
