“Stunning retreat in the Carolinas!”
I recently visited North Carolina with my son to do some cycling with friends in the mountains. The cabin is conveniently located near some of the best road cycling I've experienced in the Carolinas and I would recommend it to anyone. The cabin is clean, efficient and really blissfully quiet and peaceful. I can't wait to return for future cycling trips!
“Perfect little mountain retreat”
We were so pleased to find this quiet peaceful perfect cabin for a weekend stay. It was just the mountain retreat I had envisioned. It was perfectly cleaned and maintained. This was the only structure on the 7 acres, so there was plenty of privacy. It was also more reasonable than many of the nearby B&B;'s. Just a short drive to Landrum and Tryon. I would highly recommend it.
“Wonderful Weekend Getaway”
All I can say is wow! It was the most beautiful and coziest cabin I have ever stayed in. I rented this for weekend getaway as a birthday present for my girl friend. The amenities were everything advertised. We saw fox and deer in the evening and morning. Very quiet with all the comforts of home. Not too far from Hendersonville and asheville. I would recomend this to anyone and everyone. Thanks Doug.
“Cozy and comfortable”
Our stay was comfortable and cozy. It was new, clean and picturesque. Between the deer roaming the property and sun rises, it was almost like a living postcard. We will definitely stay there again when we go back.
The best getaway that my fiancee and myself have ever found in all of NC. It seemed as if Doug knew everything there is to make a stay somewhere feel exactly like a home away from home. We were able to finally get away from city life, if even for a weekend, cook our own romantic dinner by a fireplace, and enjoy perfect peace and quiet without breaking the bank. We will certainly be coming back, and hopefully soon.
Our stay at Raynard's retreat exceeded our expectations. The cabin is quaint, cozy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We appreciated the subtle amenities like Keurig machine, heat option in bathroom fixture, comfortable bed, gas fireplace, key-less entry, etc. Plus, it was convenient to both asheville NC and Greenville SC, while being able to thoroughly enjoy Tryon NC. We highly recommend this perfect, European style cabin.
“Enchanted and Romantic”
Reynard's Retreat is an enchanted getaway for two! My wife and I loved our stay and look forward to returning soon! The cabin was beautiful. We had wildlife out our front door and an romantic canopy of stars overhead.
“An amazing experience, not to be forgotten”
Travelling to NC for the first time from the UK, id had visions of the beautiful rugged terrain, crystal clear lakes and breath-taking views. What can I say? Reynard's Retreat gave me my dream getaway and more! Having been delayed a couple of hours on the flight and in much need of rest, it was a pleasure to be met by the smiling face of Doug and be welcomed into a week I will never forget. The bed was perfect, cosy and laid with fresh sheets, the kitchen was well stocked and everywhere was spotless and yet, I felt at home. After a great night's sleep, the true adventure began; My mornings were often met with fleeting glances of deer grazing in the fields, foraging squirrels and one or twice; the cry of a Hawk! It was amazing to be so close to such fantastic wildlife; it added a great unique experience. The nearby town of Tryon offered a great first day of exploring, taking me back to the "old style” feel of the us we all always see on TV at home; the locals were great, the food was great, everything about the place shone warmth and I just lost myself in the culture. As the week continued (and I got braver), my adventures took me further afield; finally laying eyes on the famous chimney rock; cruising down the blue ridge parkway; hiking through "F.E.N.C.E” and maybe once or twice exploring one of the local rustic bars! Overall "Reynard's retreat” gave me everything it promised and more, fantastic owners, a beautiful cabin (I could talk for hours about that fire place), a world of great possibilities and a truly unforgettable once in a lifetime trip (even when it rained). Very highly recommended for people looking for a romantic getaway, or like me, the "bald” adventurer.
“Romantic and private”
"Renard`s Retreat" is a little cosy cabin with lots of space for two persons for a romantic getaway. Its located in the beautiful nature of North Carolina and has everything you need: Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with jet tub, comfortable bedding and a romantic gas fireplace. We had come all the way from Denmark to enjoy some privacy and relax from the workdays stress and we were not disappointed. The days were sunny and warm and at night a million stars were out. Dear were playing at the property and squirrels were jumping from tree to tree. The owner is a very nice person and very helpful. Just ask, and he will get you anything you need.
