Bass Haus- A 2 bedroom 1 bath that sleeps up to 8. There is a king in the master bedroom, 1 full and a bunk bed in 2nd bedroom, 1 queen futon in living room, full bath, full kitchen and deck. Back patio area near the water has picnic table, outdoor furniture, bbq pit and fire pit.

THIS LISTING IS FOR BASS HAUS ONLY. WE HAVE 5 OTHER COTTAGES IN THIS SAME AREA THAT SHARE THE 4 BOAT DOCKS, 1,000FT OF WATERFRONT AND COMMUNITY HOT TUB. WE JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW. THE 5 OTHER COTTAGES IN THIS SAME AREA.

Wunder-Cove is a name we call the are where we have the six secluded waterfront properties located side by side and nestled in an ecosystem of trees and nature.

Great fishing, kayaking, water-skiing and boating; a paradise for bird watchers, with over 1000 feet of waterfront that offers an Eco pathway covered with large cypress and elm pecan & oak trees.

We also have 4 boat docks to tie you water craft to, watch sunsets from, or get in and out of the water. There is a common area hot-tub, horse shoe pits. washer toss. There are outstanding lakeviews and plenty of trees for shade.

These properties are located on a very quiet cove on Lake Dunlap.

It is only 3- 4 miles to Gruene, Schlitterbahn, N.B.Hist. Dist., restaurants, shops, bars, theatres. The Outlet malls in San Marcos are only 15 minutes away, N.B.Airport 2 miles, San Antonio Airport 30 minutes, Austin Airport 45 minutes.

Also river outfitters can pick your group up any of our properties and take you to either the Comal or Guadalupe Rivers for tubing, providing required equipment for your float, put you in and then pick you up at the end of your float and bring you back approx $30 per person.

*** Lake Dunlap Spillgate Failure:

The Guadalupe River is the source of water for Lake Dunlap. Tuesday May 14, 2019 one of three spill gates failed. This caused the lake level to drop by 60-70 percent. This has caused the main body of Lake Dunlap to revert to its original Guadalupe River shape. We may be offering tubing & kayaking soon.

If you are coming to float the Guadalupe or Comal Rivers, they are a short drive (3 to 4 miles) upstream and are open for business. All other Attractions in town are open to include Schlitterbahn, Natural Bridge Caverns & Wild Life Park, Landa Park & the Spring fed pool.

* Directly in front of our Wundercove Cottages (Bass, Sunfish, Angler, Lago, Posada & Catfish) the water level has been reduced to a trickel. We do have a 1500 ft. nature trail that has some water holes along it that provide areas for fishing. We do have our common area hot-tub operating. FYI we have begun construction of a swimming pool to serve all 6 cottages and expect it to be done in late July 2019.
