“Perfection in Montreal!”
The cottage was fabulous and in the perfect location, my 5 nieces and myself adored Montreal and commented on how wonderful and beautiful the city is! The snow did not stop our adventure and Freddie and Joanna were so helpful all the way. I would love to come back in the fall when I could walk down the stairs and into neighborhood. I would can not say enough about our stay, perfect for 6 southern women!
Response from the owner Thanks my dear Elizabeth! You are ALWAYS welcome back! Joanna
This place was great for our group of four couples. The street was quaint and we felt very safe even walking around in the evenings, and the location was perfect for getting around Montreal whether walking or riding the bixi bikes. The nearby grocery store was very convenient for picking up food and wine. The four bedrooms were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We really couldn't ask for much more.
Response from the owner Thank you for taking the time to share your experience ! you are always wlecome back!
The 4 bedroom cottage was immaculate and in beautiful shape. Our small group of business travelers were comfortable in this very convenient location. Look forward to returning!
“An absolutely lovely and ideal place to stay!”
We were a group of 8 (5 adults, 3 teens) convening for 3 nights/Memorial Day weekend in Montreal. This home had more than enough space for us - everyone/every couple had their own room. My bedroom had a balcony overlooking the charming street. Fully stocked with comfortable bedding and pillows, solid mattresses, 2 full bathrooms. The location is wonderful, great restaurants are a short walk away, as is a grocery store and fabulous bakery. The owners sent us an incredibly helpful info packet with suggestions and locations and we really used it. The house is a nice mix of old and beautiful woodwork and newer more modern touches. Everything was clean and we found chocolate on the dining table and flowers hanging out of the mailbox - very sweet! An a+ experience in every way!
“Wonderful place to live”
We have spent one week in this paradisiac place. This appartment is wonderful, very beautiful, confortable, near from the métro, the bus station, some good restaurant, in a great street. You will find everything you need, it is a very nice and modern appartment. Joanna and Frédérique are very nice and welcoming hosts, we had a good communication. We hope to come as soon as possible
“Relaxing and Comfortable.”
We had a nice time in Montreal and found this cottage to be neat and as beautiful as it was portrayed in the pictures. Staying in such a comfortable place contributed to our enjoyment of Montreal. We will recommend the unit to other friends visiting Montreal in future.
“Wonderful Cozy Home in Montreal”
This is a great place to stay if you have a big family or group. There are lots of beds and blankets and it's cozy and quiet. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well outfitted. We had a great stay there and when we come back to Montreal we will stay there again...hopefully it's available!
“Very enjoyable stay, great for groups!”
I thoroughly recommend staying here, especially for large groups. 12 of us spent 6 nights here in January. There was ample space for everyone. I never felt over crowded and it was amazing to be able to have our own house to come back to at night. The house is very nicely located a short walk away from the orange line which made transportation around Montreal very easy. Its location in the plateau is great because it offered our group an opportunity to experience the non-touristy, residential Montreal. We went to several great bakeries, restaurants, and bars around the area. There is also a supermarket and SaQ only a few minutes away on foot which was very convenient. Joanna was wonderful. When we arrived, we found the previous guests had broken the door handle to the refrigerator. Joanna contacted me very soon after and had it fixed the day after we arrived. She was also extremely easy contact and replied to my emails almost immediately. She made us feel very welcome and supported.
“Superb and comfortable”
Superbly decorated, very comfortable, with plenty of room, in an absolutely quiet , and pleasant area.
“A wonderful spot for family and friends to meet up!”
We spent 4 nights here in early autumn 2012. The apartment was definitely spacious enough to accommodate four adults and four young children, and could have comfortably fit a few more people without any trouble. The place was clean and close to a great bakery and a beautiful park (Laurier). The owner provided detailed instructions with lots of great suggestions for places to see and things to do in Montreal. We had only one problem -- the internet stopped working for some reason. When we contacted the owner, she took the issue seriously and resolved it within only a couple of hours of being contacted. I would recommend this apartment to anyone, and would definitely stay here again. One note: we drove most places we visited in the city, which worked out well, but it you wanted to take public transportation I believe that you would have to start with a bus or a bit of a walk from this location.
