“Can't wait to return”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2013

I think I can honestly say that Pregge Mill gave us a first class base for our recent holiday. We arrived to find the house warm, spotlessly clean and exactly as we had expected from photographs. The owners, Anne and Jon Lloyd, were extremely helpful, especially when we found a leak and were prompt to sort the problem out and very apologetic. It certainly didn't spoil our stay as we appreciate that on occasions things like this can happen. We had been concerned about the open stairs having read reviews but we didn't find them a problem. The secret is to take your time, wear non-slip soled slippers and hold the centre pole, though the elderly may find them more difficult. The kitchen was well equipped and spotlessly clean, sofas and the bed amazingly comfortable. The property is well located to the local amenities in Crickhowell and perfect for walking from the door. Can't wait to return.

“Excellent spot”

My wife and I had a great stay at Pregge Mill. The house is lovely; very spacious and very well equipped. It is a short walk to the local town and the hiking starts right on the doorstep. I can very highly recommend staying here.

“Fantastic accommodation in beautiful surroundings”

We had a lovely week at Pregge Mill, Ann and John were so helpful and the cottage was beautifully furnished. The village is just a short walk away and there are plenty of other atttractions in the vicinity just a short drive away.

“wonderful weekend away”

Reviewed 20 Feb 2013

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend away in Pregge Mill. We drove down from London after work, and did not arrive until close to midnight, but this was not a problem at all, as the door was left open. the apartment is large with two living rooms and a nice eat in kitchen. We came to Crickhowell for a hiking weekend, and the location was just perfect as we could walk straight from Pregge Mill onto the Beacon Way. I would certainly come here again.

Response from the owner Thanks so much for your comments; our aim is for our guests to be able to discover the Welsh hills and walks at their own pace and return to Pregge Mill for relaxed comfort.

“A delight to visit.”

Your holiday mill was a wonderful week. The cottage was extremely well equiped and comfortable. Crickhowell was a great town, we loved Bacus, the butchers and the bakery. For older people the staircase was a challenge, and maybe a hand rail could be added. Overall we will try to return.

“We will go back!”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2012

We have made three visits to Pregge Mill. The accommodation is very comfortable, well equipped and planned. The location is peaceful but with easy acces to the town with its selection of amenities. There are also wonderful walks on the doorstep. You don't have to use the car if you don't want to. Jon and ann are helpful but unobtrusive.
