Description

A lovely comfortable and clean self catering cottage set on a small complex with one other cottage - La Porcherie and a lovely 17th century farmhouse which is the owner's accommodation. La Grange is great for families on their own or to share - with 2 double bedrooms and a triple room for the children and there is also room for a cot in the bedroom. There are two shower rooms and a downstairs toilet. With all the comforts of home such as UK TV and wireless internet access and also set in a lovely peaceful location in the beautiful Dordogne countryside but with the benefit of not being far from local shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities. The garden is fully enclosed as is the pool making it a safe environment to bring the children complete with games, swings and slides. We also have a great selection of toys, games, books and baby/toddler equipment here for your use so you don't have to bring everything with you. Two familes could book both gites and have exclusive use of the gardens and pool.,

Getting around

You need a car to go further afield and exploring or there are some lovely walks and cycle rides right from the door step.

Interaction with guest

Malcolm and I live on site with our two rental cottages and are there to help and assist if required or leave you to it. There are tourist leaflets in both our cottages and a folder on what to do in the area, information on restaurants and when the local markets are on and much more information about the local area regarding walking and cycling. I can offer you a meal on your arrival which is prepared for you to heat up as and when you arrive which is welcomed by a lot of our guests. I can also offer this during your stay if required. We welcome families with children who have additional needs and we think you will find Chauffour a relaxing holiday destination with your children or as a couple if you want to come out of season.
