Description

Located at the south end of the barrier island that makes up Daytona Beach, one mile north of Ponce de Leon Lighthouse, this tasteful island home is the perfect place to lay back and get away from it all.

The serene locale allows you easy access to a variety of sun drenched activities. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, the Intracoastal Waterway, Ponce Inlet, and the sound of surf on quiet starry evenings, you'll fall in love with the tranquility of the Island Living!

Five miles of wide white sand beach and some of the best surf in the area lie a seven minute walk out the front door - great for surfing, cycling, kayaking, jogging, walking, or just hanging out. Beach access is a three minute walk out the front door. With the exception of an on-beach parking area, this is a no-cars-allowed beach.

As a tropical breeze caresses this end of the Island year-round, there isn't a bad time to visit. Even in the months of July and August, a sea breeze provides for a pleasant day at the beach.

Deep sea fishing by party boat or captained charter, as well as a nice public boat launch are located one mile south of the home. If you love to walk, hit the beach or elevated walkways through nearby Lighthouse Point State Preserve. The low traffic volume and wide sidewalks make the area great for bicycling or roller-blading.

The house is well appointed, tastefully decorated, and has three bedrooms, two full baths,. The aster bedroom has its own private bath, while the other bath is accessible from the pool and the two separate guest bedrooms. This island home features a spacious dining room, a family room, living room, eat-in and a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. Full wi-fi & two televisions.

Beds include one king-size (Master Bedroom), one queen, and two single beds. This home works great for two to three couples, a small family, or a couple with visiting guests. The maximum adult occupancy is six persons. Maximum total occupancy is six.

If you do not feel like sand and surf, take a break in the private, screened and heated pool. The kitchen is conveniently located off of the pool. Two televisions, expanded cable with DVD, and two bicycles are usually present for guest use. All lawn and pool care is owner provided.

Fresh seafood is the fare of choice and several waterfront restaurants are within walking and bicycling distance. If simply relaxing is not enough for you, other area activities within easy reach include:

· Daytona International Speed Way - 13 Miles.

· Disney, MGM Studios & Walt Disney World - 79 Miles.

· Golf - Daytona Beach and the area just beyond are loaded with excellent golf courses!

· Kennedy Space Center - 57 Miles.

· Sea World - 71 Miles.

· St. Augustine - This spectacular, "oldest city in the USA," is an easy 55 mile scenic drive up A1A.

· Universal Studios - 67 Miles.

· World Golf Hall of Fame - 70 Miles.
