“Lovely Villa and staff exceptional.”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2014

We stayed with a 1 and 3 year old and got a local firm (Pasek will have details) to erect a pool fence which proved invaluable. Lots of steps but kept us fit! Bedrooms, furnishings, outdoor shower beautiful and position good for walking to shops etc. Only comment is I agree with a previous one that lighting in 3rd room in bathroom was dim - needs spot above mirror. Also Pool was cold! But lovely stay and I will recommend to clients. I am a travel agent. Thanks Pasek for your wonderful attention and our baby is missing you!

“A great Ubud place to stay”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2014

My family - the children are adults - thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas/New Year stay at Villa Purnamasari. It combines being very central in Ubud, walking distance to all the best things, with a quiet and secluded escape when the front gates were closed. We all spent lots of time around the pool, reading or swimming. The staff, the house, the general amenity - all good. We'd certainly visit again.

“a beautiful surprise”

Reviewed 10 Nov 2013

we loved this villa! photos do not to this lovely private villa justice! we arrived and fell immediately in love with the beautiful big airy rooms, bali outdoor bathrooms, pool, peaceful jungle surroundings, facilities and the lovely helpful staff. Parsec (sorry probably not the right way to spell!) was very helpful with arranging drivers and activities and it was fabulous waking up to his daily fresh breakfasts. one small negative - the surrounding properties have roosters. The Villa is walking distance to shops and attractions and has everything you need to have a wonderful holiday. Highly recommend!

“Beautifully appointed Villa in Central Ubud”

Reviewed 16 May 2013

The property is beautifully appointed, minutes to the centre of Ubud and at the same time gloriously isolated amongst lush forest. We loved our stay here and would come back without any hesitation. The owner Paul was very helpful making arrangements and responsive to email requests - he was a pleasure to deal with, as were the staff at the villa. Daily included breakfasts, cooked by the house manager Pasek and Kadek, were fantastic. Pasek's wife also cooked an amazing traditional dinner for an additional cost, but it was well worth it. The three bedroom areas, each with bathroom, are in separate self contained buildings. Hot water for showers doesn't last very long and there are a lot of stairs to negotiate to get around the property, neither of which bothered us, but they may be factors worth considering if you are traveling with anyone with mobility issues or who can't live without long showers. The pool was pristine and offered refreshing respite from the heat of the day. All in all a fabulous villa that will allow guests a peaceful escape and a place from which to explore Ubud easily.

“the villa exceeded expectations”

Reviewed 16 May 2013

the location was great. We could walk down to the resturants and markets within a few minutes. The villa itself exceeded all our expectations it was absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail gorgeous. The staff were so helpful but discreet and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a real treat. My sisters and I all rate this villa 10/10 and will definately return . .

“A beautiful,tranquil&relaxing; little hideaway”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2013

The week we spent @ V.P.was the best, the very friendly staff took very good care of us. We loved the separate little villas, I had the master suite & it was great, especially the outdoor bathrom, having a shower in the little rain forest was very special. It was centrally located in Ubud with just a short walk down to main road, with everything within walking distance, no taxis were needed, this was important to us.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay there & would be happy to go back, it was luxury in Ubud.

“Loved it!”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2013

Stayed with 3 adults and 3 Children aged from 5 to 8 for three nights. Not knowing what we were getting we should have stayed longer. The Villa is located just off the main street within a 10 minute walk of where the market used to be. Backing onto a small gorge it is surrounded by lush forest. The photos listed here are exactly what the Villa was like. There are 3 large bedroom/shower/toilet areas under separate roofs that are beautifully decorated, with a kitchenette/open dining area under one of the units, and two small balcony areas beside the swimming pool that sit facing the greenery. The staff are super attentive and cook you a beautiful breakfast. Just tell them what you would like and they will look after all your needs. Missing the coffee already. Be aware that the block is fairly steep and has many steps, and just be careful with water on the polished concrete as it does get slippery. But that's about it. If you don't like insects and other jungle creatures (had a frog in my roof which startled me at first, but made the most amazing sound) then don't go to Ubud. You'll will probably be woken by the sounds of roosters, birds, monkeys, insects, and the occasional motor bike, but this is all part of the experience. On the whole the Villa was extremely peaceful and quite.

“A fantastic retreat!”

We stayed in this charming villa with 5 adults & 1 child. We loved the place with the beautiful garden, nice swimming pool and green valley. The big & lovely bedrooms are all separate and very private. The villa is close to the city center and still very quiet and peaceful. the service is excellent. We hope to come back again.

“restful and delighting”

a family with 3 children and 4 adults. The environment is just gorgeous and the service so charmful. Close from the center and peaceful at the same time ! We all just loved it. If I come back to Ubud surely we will go back there. We liked everything from the house (specially the pool for the children!), the service, the view.
