“Really comfortable apartment that felt like home - in a great location”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2014

We had a lovely 4 night stay in this apartment in the Latin Quarter for our first visit to Montreal. The digital guest book provided by Joanna and Freddie was full of tips for parking, dining and points of interest for our arrival/stay. The apartment itself was as described and spacious - with room for two children and two adults to lounge around in when we were not off exploring Old Montreal (within walking distance) or Jean Talon market (short walk to the Barri Metro). The building itself is charming and safe but could use some renovations to the hallway and exterior - old buildings in winter will have some drafts but this did not diminish our appreciation of the apartment, it's high-ceilings or the overall vibe. Again, we had a lovely time in Montreal and we were very happy with our apartment on Rue Berri.

“Our stay at Rue Berrie and Rene Levesque”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2013

Synopsis: We stayed from Thursday thru Sunday and there were 8 of us that visited apt#1 and #2 on Rue Berrie. It was a mancation get-away and we wanted to be close together during our stay. We spent most of our time strolling around the area, eating at the terrace and chinatown and enjoying the nightlife entertainment near the apartment. I love this location and will defintely come back for my next visit. Communication & Service: Most of the communication was through email, although I had the pleasure to meet Joanna during my stay. The response is prompt, friendly and always professional. There is no daily maid or cleaning service, but the apartment was well stocked with towels, bedding, laundry facilities with detergent and dishwasher with dishsoap. Cleanliness: We found the place to be clean and well prepared for new tenants when we first checked in. Check-in / Check-out: There was no interface necessary for check-in or check-out. It's a lockbox method. We followed the procedures/guidelines provided and things worked out great. We cleaned up our dishes, took out the trash and piled the dirty laundry in the wash room. Just follow the check-out directions given and we received 100% of our deposit in return. Location: I saved the best for last. I loved this location of the apartments here. Walking distance for the following: - metro station (2-3 blocks) - cab station (2 blocks) - grocery store and shopping (4 blocks) - Pier for boat rides and pretty views - Terrace bars which is great outdoor dining/entertainment - Chinatown (5 blocks) You're basically right downtown where the nightclubs are just north on St.Laurent. There are plenty of things to do because the 2 mile radius has everything you can imagine. Great local foods like Schwart's where we at twice. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.

“Excellent for groups!”

We rented two apartments on Berri Street for a bachelorette party of 9 women. We had a fantastic weekend! The apartments are well-appointed, clean and very convenient. We slept 4-5 in each comfortably (as long as you are ok sharing beds) and found that the couches made for excellent lounging space on chilly afternoons! We enjoyed the short walk (5-10min) into Old Montreal, and a bit longer walk (30min) up to the Plateau. Joanna was incredibly responsive - emailed me within an hour every time I contacted her - and even made accommodations for our luggage on our last day in town. If only the beautiful 70-degree (F) weather we had on our last day had come for the whole weekend! Biggest disappointment - didn't get to see the Tam Tams.

“Easy and convenient”

Reviewed 25 May 2013

Staying in Le St Laurent was super easy and convenient--Frederique and I communicated via text message, and we had no problems. The apartment was lovely and well located in the city, close to the metro and in walking distance from the Old Port and City. I would highly recommend the apartment...the only downside is parking, which cost us $15 a day. You can park on the street for free a block down, but it's difficult and confusing.

“Customer service was fantastic”

Very clean ,nice size , and close to everything and frederique is awsome to deal with

“Excellent hosts; amazing location!”

Reviewed 7 May 2013

Booked 3 apartments for a reunion, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I have booked many apartments before and this ones were by far the best ones I've ever had. All of the conveniences and kitchen supplies you could need, amazing location, and the responses from the hosts within minutes! Fantastic experience!!!

“Fantastic apartment and manager”

I brought two friends to Montreal. The apartment is a large studio with very nice features and amenities, and a fantastic location! Perfect for a couple or possibly a small family.

“Look no further. No, really. This is where you want to stay”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2013

The apartment was beyond brilliant, and Joanna was really helpful and was an excellent hostess There were 6 of us and nobody had any complaints about our living situation. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen an absolute joy to cook in and the apartment itself was very hospitable and cosy. Checking in was a breeze and we settled in just as easily. The apartment was very clean and well kept, I wish my home were as refreshing and well kept! There are washers and dryers available, all the necessities for cooking and dining in the kitchen, television and internet, and the bathroom was perfect for our needs. The apartments location is, if not near, perfect. Just a minutes walk away from a very main metro station located next to the village (a very happening place at night and has an excellent grocery store), a pleasant short walk to St.Denis which was our favourite part of Montreal, and an even shorter walk into old town. Riding the metro for no more than a few minutes will get you into downtown and Mcgill, so the apartment really is in an ideal location. Joanna was an absolute delight and we couldn't have asked for a better hostess. She left a very handy list of excellent things to do, was really friendly and professional, and even let us park in her lot when there was a snow storm. I strongly recommend this apartment, it is definitely one of the best (if not the best) options for visitors

“The ideal apartment for a couple in Montreal”

Reviewed 13 Mar 2013

We had a truly excellent experience with this apartment. The location was the most central place imaginable, less than 5 minutes walk to three metro lines and easily accessible to all of Montreal interesting central neighborhoods. The hosts were exceptionally helpful, supplying a wealth of useful information about the city and making it easy to check in even after a late night arrival. The flat itself is amazing - spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and warm (very important in Canadian winter). We especially enjoyed the very thoughtfully stocked kitchen, which seemed brand new. These hosts have really thought of everything a guest would want to feel right at home.

“Clean, organized and easy”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2013

We had a great experience at this place. The room is clean and comfortable and it is just just down the block from a main metro stop. There are lots of restaurants and bars on St. Denis, just a few blocks away. Joanna was very helpful, and the whole process of renting went smoothly.
