“Lovely place for rest and relaxation”

Lovely company, lovely meals so beautifully presented. wonderful setting. Great time to relax and rejuvenate.

Response from the owner Thank you Kerryn and John.......... but we enjoyed it too!

“Choose elsewhere”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2014

Superficially idyllic at first glance. Three double bedrooms under one roof part of the main house all adjoining a common lounge/dining/kitchen area with only one TV and a radio here and none for private enjoyment. Despite being the only guests, privacy felt lacking. A memorably forgettable experience.

“Unforgetable and relaxing break for us.”

My husband and I both really enjoyed the few days we had at Jindivick Gardens. We were able to relax and recharge the batteries. Charles and Carol were wonderful hostesses and made sure we were well catered for and comfortable. Carol's cooking was wonderful, how great to sit to meals without the trouble of cooking!! The location was just right, not too far from home and in such a great bush setting. We will hopefully be able to return for another stay and can't thank Charles and Carol enough.

“A very special expedrience.”

We were looking for a venue to relax and we certainly found the right place. The ambience of the Jindivick Gardens is outstanding and the region has plenty to offer for day trips. Our hosts are very special people and the hospitality was outstanding. Dinner was a special and unique experience to be enjoyed and discussions during delightful meals a learning experience. The gardens are magnificent and reflect great care and attention. Rain, hail or shine the venue offers so much for especially people of mature years. We thank Carol and Charles for being the perfect hosts.

“A delightful Gippsland retreat for a break from the frantic whir”

Spacious and pretty surrounds, a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, very comfortable accommodation, home-cooked meals and a personable host and hostess who go out of their way to make their guests stay enjoyable. These are the features which combine to make the Jindivick Gardens 3 Night B&B; package a most enjoyable experience - and very good value !!

“Peace and relaxation in a tranquil environment”

Very welcoming start to a wonderful 3 days. Great ambience, tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed. Beautiful home-cooked meal each night with our hosts. Beautiful garden landscaping, lovely trees, autumn colors. From our first impression at the entrance we knew we would be happy with our stay.

“A very freindly atmosphere”

My husband and I took a short break from our usual daily routine recently choosing a country escape to West Gippsland with its wonderfull green rolling hills and vistas. We often visit the splendid Melbourne Botanic and National Rhododendron Gardens, and marvel at their beauty. We were not dissappointed by what we found at Jindivick gardens. The entrance drive winds through trees, shrubs and flowers and provides a welcoming feeling matched only by Charles' greeting as we approached the house. He showed us where to park and showed us our room and the large comfortable communal lounge/dining/ kitchen area. I was amazed by it's spaciousness and the wonderfull open views of the 10 acres of well developed beautiful gardens to explore at our leisure. A most welcoming afternoon tea was provided on our arrival. The spacious B&B; has 3 double bedrooms with en-suites and we shared 2 of them with another senior couple throughout our stay. A very friendly atmosphere prevailed and every convenience was provided (TV, books to read, a well stocked kitchen and board games). Carol's delicious home cooked evening meals were prepared in her own kitchen and we sat down to enjoy them with Charles and Carol and their other guests. The whole experience was most enjoyable.

A great place to unwiind and live at a slower pace for a few days. If you wish to explore surrounding places of interest you definitely need a car and be prepared to negotiate circuitous roads Not for those wanting the fleshpots but a great retreat with interesting and very caring hosts
