As featured on Kevin McCloud's Escape to the Wild, The Beach House is serviced holiday accommodation sleeping 4 adults comfortably (or a family of 5). With an incredible over-water deck and its own secluded beach, the Beach House is ideally located for whalewatching/swimming and many other water-based activities like diving, fishing, kayaking,game fishing and snorkelling. Self-catering is available Oct-June or opt in for a daily meal plan created by your onsite chef. Fofoa is a stunning island of 100 acres with just 4 other residents including your hosts Karyn and Boris and their family who can help you organise your holiday. The living room deck is where you can often spot turtles, eagle rays and blue trevallies chasing the sardines in the clear, turquoise waters. Share your morning coffee with the humpback whales as they cruise by to greet the day. The two bedrooms with SuperKing beds (can be divided into 4 King singles) and pure cotton sheets are roomy and cool with french doors leading to individual decks each with its own ensuite bathroom and hot shower. The open plan kitchen/living space comes fully equipped with gas fridge/freezer, oven, and dining area on the deck. The island itself is a picturesque 40minute boat ride from the main town, Neiafu which has a number of restaurants, bars, shops and a local market.

We can take bookings for up to 6 people (or 7 if a child) if you also rent Coral Cottage.

There are no cars on Fofoa but its big enough for exploring and bush walks. We provide kayaks for exploring the nearby islands.

We live onsite and are available 24hours to assist with anything you may need. However, the house is completely private so you can choose the level of interaction

How do damage deposits work?

If Karen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
