“Great House”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2014

We stayed there for 5 days in July 2013 and it was great. I have two kids and they loved staying up stairs. I was a very clean and beautiful house with everything you will need. The hot tub was a great pluse so the we could relaxe after a day of adventure. I do plan on staying there when we come back to Taos. We could not have asked for a better and prettier place.

This place was a truly magical place to stay during the holidays for my family's ski trip. It is in a convenient location to get to Taos Ski Valley, but secluded enough to relax and get away from it all. The hot tub was great and my grown children enjoyed it every night after a day of skiing. We saw coyotes frequently and could hear them singing at night. The pictures of this rental do not do it justice. As you walk in the door the front windows provide a wonderful view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. The unique quonset design and New Mexico art and motif added to the experience. I would stay here again and will remember this place always.

“Truly magical!”

My January ski trip was especially enjoyable due to the great accommodations this lovely home provided. It was my second stay here and I'll definitely be returning for a third. The out of town location provides serenity and easy access to the ski mountain. The design of the home is very unique - who would have thought a quonset hut could be transformed into such a cozy, comfortable space. The decor, furnishings, and views - all very appealing including a great view of Tres Piedras from the bathroom window. We really enjoyed preparing meals in the gourmet kitchen. The master bed is super comfy, and how fabulous to step out the bedroom door and hop into the hot tub. All in all, a most enjoyable place to stay when you are in Taos.

This is a beautiful, rustic 2BR cabin with all the comforts of home. The cabin in clean, spacious, quiet, isolated and comfortable. The Rio Grande River Gorge bridge and hiking trails leading to the Mamby Natural Hot Springs are minutes away. A short drive offers an abundance of recreational activities including: native culture at Taos Pueblo, white-water rafting, skiing, fishing, golfing, gaming, Southwest art, and hot-air ballooning. New Mexican cuisine at nearby Taos is second to none. Night-time views from the cabin's patio under crystal-clear skies are indescribable. The cabin comes completely furnished and is always quiet and comfortable.
