“Could NOT have been Better”

Reviewed 13 May 2014

F102 is a great unit. The layout is total perfection. Close to the pool and beach but not too close that it's distracting. Very quiet and peaceful. My family, (husband, 4yr old and 6yr old) swam in the pool every morning then returned to the condo for lunch and siesta. We visited the beach every late afternoon and early evening. Blind Pass Condos is more family oriented, not so much party atmosphere. Condo has great cable tv, great beach stuff (we brought our own life jackets for kids which we needed because the waves were strong).

“A wonderful vacation had by all.”

Unit F 102 was lovely. Plenty of room and every accessory needed to make for a great vacation.

“What a wonderful vacation-we will definitely be back.”

We stayed at Blind Pass F102 for a week in September of 2013. What a delightful vacation. The condo is neat, clean, and spacious. Just a short walk from the assigned parking space. Another short walk gets you to the beach. The pool is large and has both shallow and deep areas. There are five gas grill to use for cooking out. The grills were in good shape, and always worked well. This condo also has wi fi internet, and cable t.v. with dozens of channels. There is a great selection of beach chairs and equipment. We could not be happier with our unit. The owners of this condo are very nice people. We plan to return in 2014. I might add that should an emergency occur this condo is just two minutes away from Sanibel Fire and Rescue. I am a retired police officer, and we stopped at the local fire station which is just down the street. We also saw grounds keepers and maintenance people on site everyday. You can't ask for a nicer vacation spot.

“All the comforts of home ... with better scenery”

F102 is a great condo. A few steps from the covered parking space. A short walk to the ocean, the tennis courts, the grills, the pool. And being on the ground floor makes it even better. The condo has a beach cart and all the beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas you will ever need. The beach was great the waves had some variety from day to day, some days slow rollers and other days crashing hard for some serious body surfing, what a blast! The room was spectacular! Free Wifi, Cable with DVR (my personal favorite), great kitchen with even the little things remembered like a muffin pan and plenty of dishwasher soap. The decor was beautifully done and very fitting of such a tranquil island. The only improvement I would like would be longer office hours (currently only until 4pm) so we could use the included canoes and kayaks later in the day, because the nearby bayou would be great to paddle during sunset.

“Great to be back to our favorite vacation spot, Sanibel.”

We really enjoyed the condo at Blind Pass this visit. It had every amenity and was close to the beach. The decor was so nice. Since it was a windy week, we were happy that we brought our own umbrella (from Sam's). Much sturdier than the several ones at the condo. Enjoyed most of our meals grilling fresh seafood from Trico Shrimp Co. Can't wait to return to Sanibel next year.

“My Happy Place”

Reviewed 2 May 2013

We recently returned from a beautiful week on Sanibel. We have been visiting Sanibel and Blind Pass Condominiums since 1989 - every 2 or 3 years or as often as we can manage. We have never been disappointed and on those years we choose to visit a new area we always wonder why we didn't just go back to Sanibel. This was our first stay in John and Jean Jacob's condominium. It is now at the top of our preferred list. Somehow they have managed to put in place everything we needed for comfort and cooking - and I cook a lot - without making things feel crowded or overdone. Another big issue for us is comfortable bedding. A great week can be ruined if you have lousy sleeping accommodations. The King mattress and linens were excellent(we didn't use the guest beds). Many places advertise "the comforts of home". The Jacobs' truly provide the comforts of home. From books to Dvds to beach chairs and coolers, Wi-Fi, wonderful sun porch... the list of things we appreciated goes on and on. I cannot imagine you would ever be disappointed with this unit. They even have a convenient parking space - which is often not the case.

“Great place to stay”

Just got back from our stay here and the condo was great. Loved the Blind Pass pool and access to the beach was reasonable-5-7 minute walk, great beach cart at condo helped us get everything to the beach. The condo had everything we needed and more, was nicely decorated and a huge screened in porch. Beds very comfy too. Kids appreciated the beach tools and pool noodles.

“Fantastic Vacation”

Reviewed 17 Jan 2013

Our family of four stayed at this condo and were very pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. It even had free internet (to my husband's delight)! The condo was very clean and had an excellent (heated) pool with 5 bbq's available in the shared space. We very much appreciated the washer, dryer and dishwasher. The nearby beach was amazing and if you walk along the coast towards Blind Pass the shells get more and more spectacular. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

“Awesome condo with great amenities for all ages! Highly recommen”

We loved our Blindpass Condo F-102! The parking is just steps away from the door. The condo was exactly like the pictures but so much more! Because this was our first visit to Sanibel and we were staying for a week, we didn't know what all the condo would have stocked, but it had everything. The condo was clean, the air worked nicely, lots of lights and ceiling fans, and the beds were pretty comfy. There's lots of storage and closet space and the condo actually had enough toilet paper for 4 of us for a week. It was stocked with hair dryers, hand soap, lots of towels and beach towels, beach umbrellas and toys, extra blankets and pillows, books and some board games. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything. Muffin tins, pans, cups, bowls and plates of all sizes, permanent marker, baggies, salt and pepper. The only things we needed to bring in that wasn't stocked was PaM cooking spray, our food obviously, and we brought laundry detergent but there was enough there, along with dishwashing detergent, to cover the week. The washer and dryer are really nice. The TV is great, we got to watch the Colts play on Sunday from Florida! The living room furniture is fabulous and the dining room table is big for board games-which we brought a lot of. There's a nice enclosed patio. The condo is very close to the beach and wagons for beach stuff are provided. You walk along a very nice path past one of the tennis courts, go through the protective gate, across a small bridge over a river, and then on a sandy pathway with palm trees right onto a private beach. Along our walk we saw some small alligators and various kinds of wildlife. The complex's swimming pool was very nice; they even had an adult only swimming hour! The grills worked great. The tennis courts are awesome and equipment was provided by the complex office. It is just a great place to stay! I felt safe, and when we went, it was very quiet, hardly saw anyone, and we will be going back! Contact me for more info!

“A delightful and enjoyable stay at Blind Pass”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2012

We had a really great time on quiet end of Sanibel. The Blind Pass Condo complex was well maintained, spacious with a lot of tropical plants. We were in F102 which was in a great location. The unit is decorated nicely. Everything you could want is provided. There is a 5 minute walk to the beach but it is along a beach path and across a footbridge over a nearby bayou. Saw lots of fish and many different kinds of birds on the way. Very interesting. The beach is wonderful. One of the best I have seen. More birds than people. Many, many shells. No houses or condos. Can't wait to return.
