Visitors are invited to enjoy this lovely handcrafted, dovetail log home located in Door County, Wisconsin's premier vacation destination. Conveniently sited just outside the quaint village of Sister Bay, visitors enjoy a peaceful, relaxed setting for their Door County vacation or weekend getaway. Whether communing with nature from the comfort of a hammock or exploring the many cultural and recreational activities Door County has to offer, this is the perfect place.

Newly constructed of antique native white cedar, this hand hewn, dovetail jointed log home combines plenty of windows and open space with an abundance of hand crafted detail to create a warm and inviting setting. The house is tastefully decorated, the bedrooms and baths nicely appointed, and the kitchen fully equipped.

You can enjoy coffee while watching the birds from the decks, picnic or siesta among the apple trees, enjoy wine and sunset dinner on the screen porch and end the day with a campfire. All this is possible at Dovetail Acres, a unique Door County retreat.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If TERRY (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
