“Beautiful!”

Reviewed 27 Apr 2014

Thanks a lot for such great place! We very much enjoyed our stay, the peaceful surroundings, the lovely condo and last but not least this beautiful island!

“Awesome Owners-Rick and Krista”

Reviewed 21 Apr 2014

Condo 2185 is a very well outfitted condo lacking nothing and very well decorated. Rick and Krista were very accommodating as we just showed up with no reservation but in an hour or so they had this unit ready to go. The view of the ocean is beautiful off the deck. Very quiet place with hardly any people around. Nice place to relax. Thanks again Rick and Krista for a wonderful stay.

“Sumptuous solitude”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2014

Perfect spot on Molokai for rest & recuperation. Easy access to Papohaku Beach where you can wander on an endless beach. Although the trade winds were too high to lay out, the sound and views of the crashing waves were magnificent. We saw several whales frolicking on the near horizon. Very clean unit with a nice balcony lanai and all the comforts of home. Condo landscape is well maintained. Krista was exceptional at timely communication and providing all necessary details. Mahalo!!!

“Paradise Retreat”

Reviewed 15 Jan 2014

Krista went above and beyond in accommodating our group from the moment we contacted her until our reluctant departure from this wonderful place. The complex was very quiet and peaceful, with beautifully kept grounds (yes, you may walk past some vacant buildings in the complex, not a problem for us and definitely not a safety issue). We had the pleasure of renting units 2185&2186. From the moment we walked in, the island atmosphere enveloped us! The units are very nicely furnished, have modern appliances (no dw in 2186, but not a problem), and are supplied with everything you will need (and more!) for a very easy, comfortable stay. The views from the lanai are awesome! It's evident that the owners, Rick & Krista take much care in making their guests feel at home.If you are looking for a relaxing retreat, this is the place! The property is close to several nice, uncrowded beaches, and quiet walks, but maybe a bit far from town for some (we saw that as an advantage!) The small store on site does have some emergency necessities and other things (quite a big swimsuit selection!)and was a fun place to go. Krista provided us with a lot of very useful info on local services and activities and was absolutely wonderful to work with! We found these units to be the perfect place to escape to- exactly as advertised. We will definitely be returning!

“Peaceful and beautiful”

Reviewed 6 Jan 2014

We loved the condo with the loft. You can hear the surf 24 hours a day, and if the birds don't wake you, the wild turkeys will get you up. Sitting on the lanai was breathtaking The condo is beautifully furnished with all the amenities including a washer and dryer. No need to bring lots of clothes. Lots of reading materials and cable TV. We enjoyed so many things on Molokai, the wonderful beaches, the coastline, the mountains, the tropical forest, the people, the history, the sunsets, molokai art and crafts, the macadamia nut farm (the owner was a wonderful experience),and most of all,as the people told us,"time to smell the plumeria." Very few things I would say I liked the least, except be aware these are condo's and the walls are close. The other thing to take under consideration when coming to this beautiful peaceful place, do not expect tourist shops and restaurants. There is deep water, shore and reef fishing, and they do have a great dive shop Molokai is rural Hawaii in all its glory.

Response from the owner Hi Linda! We are so happy that you loved your stay with us. I can 'feel' the 'Aloha Spirit' through your words. :) We look forward to your return visit. Molokai embraces visitors with your kind of enthusiasm! a hui hou ~ (until next time) Krista

“Beautiful unit - awesome owners...Paradise!!!”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2013

We own higher end vacation rentals back home so we are discerning travelers with higher expectations...we booked this rental after seeing the beautiful pictures and we were very happy we did!!! When we arrived to our top floor end unit, the pictures did not do it justice...the décor was special and the unit had everything we wanted/needed to thoroughly enjoy our cooking and our relaxing routine we employ when we travel. We loved it and the location and we fell in love with Molokai! Owner Krista (with a "K" and an "A" mind you) is the beauty and brains behind their beautiful vacation rentals here on the west end (they have a few!!) and Rick, her faithful husband, does what he is told. This combination of talents will assure you have everything you need to make your stay most enjoyable. Just kidding about Rick...what a great guy and his company builds and remodels high end homes back in the states. He is personally responsible for many of the beautiful finishes they have in all their rental units including ours. We know the vacation rental business and these owners care about their renter's positive experience and that is what made our stay extra special. We got to see some other rentals in the resort during our stay and none even closely compared...and the other owners were charging more rent!! We loved the west end of Molokai and the "get-away from it all feeling" we had staying there...so much so we booked an extra week on our visit. If you are going to Molokai...stay on the west end and rent this unit...you won't be disappointed!!! Jeff & Alicia Seattle

“Tranquil, stylish and two minutes to the white sand beach”

Reviewed 17 Dec 2013

12 of us stayed at Krista's wonderful condos (#2185, 2186, 2202) in September for two nights leading up to the Na Wahine O Ke Kai Outrigger Canoe Race from Molokai to Oahu. Each condo was individually and tastefully decorated, and had everything one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The condos are superbly located in the quiet Kepuhi Beach Resort a short stroll down to a pristine and deserted white sand beach. There's not a lot at the resort, which was exactly what we wanted, but there is a small shop selling gifts and a supermarket in a town about 15 min drive away. Krista was excellent and great fun to deal with, and helped us with all sorts of things, including sourcing transport at short notice for the whole group using her personal contacts. If I got a chance to go back to Molokai, I would definitely stay here again!

Response from the owner I am so glad that you all enjoyed your stay and hope that you'll all come visit us again! a hui hou ~ Krista

“Stunning & Quiet Paradise”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2013

We came to Hawaii for two weeks, stayed in Maui for the first one and then made our way to Molokai for the second week. Molokai is a completely different experience from Maui- the people are so friendly, the island runs at a completely different pace, and has such an interesting history. The locals love to tell you about the island and just make small talk, and we found that we would often be the only two on tours we would book, which was amazing!! The condo was absolutely beautiful, super comfortable with a great sunset view looking over the beach and Oahu in the distance. It had all the amenities you could think of, and a small general store in case you forgot anything. The beaches surrounding the area were gorgeous- we didn't swim at the beach right in front of the condo (Kepuhi, which is stunning to watch the sunset from, but a little rocky for swimming), but walked further down to the right less than five minutes to an amazing white-sand beach called Make Horse Beach. We basically had the entire beach to ourselves, could snorkel in a reef at the very end when the water was calm and sun tan all day. Snorkeling and scuba diving around Molokai is the best in Hawaii because the reefs have not been over-dived like those around Maui or Oahu! Some other things we loved about the condo and area: it was super quiet. We hardly saw any people the entire time we were there, so we really felt like we were on a secluded paradise. Great balcony for eating dinner or breakfast. Bbqs are a short walk away, and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking appliances. Also two of the most well-known beaches on the island (Dixie Maru and Papohaku) are about a five minute drive away. Krista was also readily available by phone when we couldn't get our WiFi to work the first day! Overall, we had an amazing time on this island, and we would highly recommend Krista's condos to future vacationers looking to visit Molokai.

“Beautiful, well-kept condo!”

Me, my husband and 14 year old son stayed 5 nights in #2186 and loved it. The amenities were very nice, with great view of the ocean. We definitely will be staying here again and highly recommend!

“Relaxing and fun!!”

Reviewed 14 May 2013

Of all the condos we have stayed in this one was the best stocked unit. Everything was in its place and at your finger tips. The décor was very comfortable. The condo was private and the view from the quiet lanai could not have been better. We highly recommend a trip to Molokai and a stay at this condo.
