“Thank you, Andro!”
Thank you, Andro! It was wonderful holidays. The house was cozy and very nice, the hosts were very attentive, and sea and sun were just great. I can recommend this house to all guests. We hope to come back soon:)
“Peaceful and comfy stay at the loveliest place!”
The best host one can imagine! Andro, thank you so much for everything: well-equipped, spaceful house, rowing boat we used so much, interesting conversations and just your kindness and friendliest attitude! The location is nice and quite, great stony beach right in front of the house, the house has two big terraces. Molunat is a small peaceful village, if you have a car though you have a close access to Dubrovnik and all hustle and bustle of Croatian summer.
“Great place, will come to visit again!”
We stayed two weeks in the end of June and enjoyed it tremendously. The house, its location, the proximity to the beach, the near-by island all helped us feel at home in Molunat. The house was big enough to accommodate our company of six, and had a beautiful shady terrace with sea view where we could barbecue local fish at dusk. The host, Andro, was friendly, kind and went out of his way to make us happy and feel welcome. He gave us a ride to and from the airport, allowed us exclusive use of his boat, gave us all possible information about the local sights, and helped us with any daily issues we faced. The place is easily accessible from Dubrovnik airport. It is a very secluded location, away from more usual noise and hassle of big resorts. There is a stony beach with chaise lounges right in front of the house, and a small island with sandy beach which we used for our 18 month old is just a short boat ride away. We hope to come again some time!
We stayed for ten days and enjoyed every minute. The house is nice and old, the garden is charming, the view over the bay beautiful. We especially enjoyed the beach area, with chairs close to the sea and a terrace with ceiling for shade. We brought our breakfast down here several times. Andro and his mother were sweet and helpful, our children loved to be around them. Andro also took us out once with the boat. The apartment has no sitting room inside, but the terrace has several places. The bedrooms are charming. one with a balcony for two. This is a place for walks, beach life, peace and quiet. In the evening we often went to the camping, which has a nice sea side restaurant. The bus leaves only a few times a day, but we did fine combining sightseeing with getting food, for instance in Gruda, which has two nice country restaurants in walking distance. In Molunat there is only a small shop for bread and basic products). If you look for a great variety of shops and restaurants, choose Dubrovnik or Cavtat instead.
“Warm place and warm welcome”
We've spend our holidays in big company: two of us with two children and grandparents. And all three generations were delighted. Molunat is beautiful, silent, cozy. We are not the big fans of wide beaches and promenades. We with pleasure traveled to Dubrovnik, Montenegro, and then came back to our solar terrace with a tremendous view of the sea. The sea was very warm even at the end of May. Water was the cleanest I've ever met. Children were happy to see lobsters and starfish in the nature! We were grateful to Desin family for their warm reception, we became friends, we learned much from them about life of Croatia. The house was very comfortable With the great pleasure we will come again.
