At Nah Uxibal we have four sweet and romantic Casitas of Nah Uxibal that were newly remodeled at the end of Nov, 2017 and are right on the beach with incredible views. Soliman Bay is a gated, private community consisting of about 45 private homes. The turquoise Caribbean waters of Soliman are situated along the second largest Reef in the world, and are filled with corals and a wide variety of Sea life. Colorful schools of Fish, Rays, Sea Turtles, Puffers and Barracuda are just a few of the creatures that grace these waters. The water is calm thanks to the protective reef which runs between the two points of Soliman, providing safety from the open sea for the sea life as well as swimmers, kayakers and snorkelers. All this is just outside your door at Nah Uxibal.

Casitas IK (Mayan for Wind) and HA (Mayan for Water) are the lower casitas and sit right on the beach literally steps from the waters edge. Casita Ka'an (Mayan for Sky) and Casita EK (Mayan for star) are the upper Casitas with wonderful views and a bit more privacy if you don't mind the stairs. All 4 casitas sit at the front of the property, just about 30 steps from the waters edge and have the same floor plans. You can't get any closer to the water than these romantic units with private decks and amazing ocean views. The casitas are perfect for honeymooners, anniversaries, or couples looking for a special getaway. The full kitchen, spacious decks, and even an ocean view from the cozy king beds make the casita a place that you will want to never leave. The perfect little "home away from home".

Getting around

Weather renting a car is advisable depends on the type of vacation you would like to have. There is a lot to do and see in the area so if you are the adventuresome type it is nice to have the freedom of a car to explore the off the beaten track places and to come and go as you please. It is about a 10-15 minute drive into the town of Tulum. If you are planning on just a few trips to town to stock the fridge and dinner once or twice, and will mostly be hanging out on the beach (we have a wonderful beach) then a shuttle to and from the airport and taxis into town would work as well. We do have 3 restaurants within walking distance (2 long the beach and one at the highway) and a small connivence store for basic essentials here on the bay.

Interaction with guest

You will be in the good care of our caretakers Alejandra and Miguel who live on the property and will clean (except Sundays) and will be available for you during your stay. They are very friendly and happy to help in anyway they can. Please feel free to let them know if you need anything at all. You may also ask Alejandra to call Angel our manager for you at anytime if you need to speak with him or email Jeannette as well. We are all happy to help in any way we can to make your vacation all you dreamed of and more.

If Jeannette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
