“Great anniversary getaway!”

Reviewed 10 May 2015

We had a great time at these cottages! It was very serene and quiet. The porch on top of or bath house was probably my favorite! We got a massage with Travis and did a yoga class with Bethany. Both were great! I'd recommend this place as a nice getaway from our busy world. Definitely pack and bring food so you can just stay where you are!

Response from the owner Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay ~ we loved working with you for yoga & massage too. After June, we'll have an on-site Private Chef so you can feel free to skip the grocery store trip on the next visit and get pampered with all-inclusive meals :)

“Personal Yoga Retreat”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2014

I booked a personal Yoga treat at Living Waters for my birthday to get away, de-stress, rest, and better my yoga practice. My stay at Living Waters far surpassed my expectations! The Romantic Red Room Eco-Cabin, was comfortable and quaint with modern amenities. I loved the natural light coming in and the ability to leave all the doors open to enjoy the ambiance of the hill country. Bethany, my yoga instructor was amazing!!! She catered my sessions to what I was specifically seeking to further my practice. I also received two Thai massages. . .Amazing! So beneficial for the body and just complimented what I was already receiving through my daily yoga practice. When walking the grounds you almost feel like you aren't in Texas, and the property is very close to many great local attractions. I highly recommend Living Waters and will definitely return myself!

“Relaxing weekend getaway!”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2013

My boyfriend and I rented the "Romantic Red Room" for a weekend get-away. We had been under a lot of stress and the weekend was just what we needed! The cabin and property are just as beautiful in person as they are in the pictures. It was the perfect mix of being able to experience the beauty of the outdoors but with the joys of air conditioning and running water. The lake was dried up, which was a bit disappointing and limited some of our activities and the nearby winery was less than impressive, but overall we had a blast. We spend a day at Hamilton Pool and would highly recommend it!! It was ~45 minute drive away from the cabin, but if you take the back roads it is absolutely beautiful and the drive itself was fun. The property has a sort of "earthy" feel to it and was just what we needed to get away from the city. The bathroom is very spacious and the tub is huge; the bed is really comfy, and even though the room is small, there is a mini fridge/freezer, a small toaster over, and a coffee pot; and my personal favorite was the wine deck on top of the bathroom. I would strongly recommend visiting the "Romantic Red Room" - - we plant to go back for another visit in the near future!! In fact, we love it so much we don't want to tell our friends about it because we want it to be our secret get-away spot!

“Private getaway weekend”

Reviewed 13 May 2013

The Romantic Red Room cabin was great! The bed was super comfy and the room decorations eclectic. The name "Romance Room" is right on - there's no furniture other than a bed and some nightstands, so you can't get distracted sitting in a chair or watching tv. If you want to sit around, you can sit on the porch, or one of the other tables and chairs nearby on the grounds. The bathroom is a detached building, right next door, and the property is private enough that going to and from was not an issue. I really liked the patio on top of the restroom building. You're up in the trees, in the shade, where you can listen to the birds and relax. Bethany was really helpful planning my trip and offering suggestions of nearby things to do (Cypress Valley Canopy Tours zip lining, the StoneHouse winery, and angels restaurant/bar). I recommend this place. (The photo for this entry shows the room on the left and the bathroom and it's roof-top patio on the right.

“The most peaceful romantic place in Texas”

Reviewed 12 Dec 2012

First off the pictures don't do this place any justice! My Husband and I decided to visit for our 10 year anniversary. We pampered ourself with the romantic package! The breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious! We then did our couples yoga, this was or first time and Bethany was patient and super sweet. Not only was the yoga fun and something new it was so relaxing and peaceful. This place had a beautiful scenery and showed us a whole new side of nature coming from the busy city life in Houston. I also indulged in an amazing Thai massage with Travis! Whoa talk about relaxation!!! The bath tub fits two and is very romantic, you can't tell by pictures but in top of restroom there is a beautiful table/sitting area where you can use to sit, talk, and view the surroundings! All in all this place was simply beautiful and was exactly what we were looking for. We look forward to visiting again!

Response from the owner Thank you so much for this amazing review! We had an absolute blast getting to know you and your high school sweetheart, even though his muscles were "too big" for a few of the yoga stretches :) We are so happy you enjoyed your time at the property and took advantage of the peace & nature. We hope to see you both again soon!

“Relaxing Weekend”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2012

My husband and I were looking for a weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place where we could just be and enjoy our surroundings. My husband found Living Waters online and after talking to Bethany on the phone it was clear that Living Waters was the perfect getaway/stay-cation for us! we only live a couple of hours away but when we arrived it really felt like we were out in the country and very much away from the city! The grounds and the cabin we stayed in could not have been more perfect. It was peaceful, and calming...and the charm was off the charts. We were able to go for walks, enjoy the evenings outside and take advantage of the views. We even got to use some tasty herbs from the herb garden to cook with! The Saturday morning Yoga class with Bethany was perfection! We loved it and it got us in a super relaxed state of mind for the rest of the day. We would absolutely go back to Living Waters and would recommend the cabins to anyone looking for a relaxing and lovely getaway!
