Very Good

“Excellent Vacation”

Reviewed 6 Apr 2014

We stayed at the Coconut cottage with our 3 teenage daughters. We had a great time! The cottage was so cute and beachy. It was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the large beach towels and the nice quality beach chairs that we used every day. There were so many people that took pictures of the cottages as they walked by because the cottages were so picturesque. The owners were friendly and helpful! We walked to the restaurants and shops at least twice a day. We really liked that the cottage was not on a crowded area of the beach but was still so close to everything! We hope to go back again!

Best rental ever. Stroll down your private beach to the ocean. Go next door to your private pool. Take a five minute walk into the heart of Ft Myers Beach. Watch the sunset from your deck. This villa has everything you could want. Kitchen is truly chef worthy. Furnishings are stylish and new. Beds are comfortable. Washer and dryer are downstairs. We bought shrimp straight from the ship and grilled them on our Weber on the deck. A person could get used to this! Only downside is sharing the pool with kids in swim diapers.

Response from the owner Thank you for the very kind words. All of us work very hard to make sure each of our guests has the most enjoyable stay possible. It is gratifying to know we succeeded with you. Please come back for another wonderful vacation getaway at Cottages of Paradise Point on beautiful Fort Myers Beach.

We stayed in the coconut cottage from July 28 through august 4 2013. The cottage was perfect!! It was fully stocked with everything we needed for our family, we even baked a cake! The amenities in this cottage were endless down to the comfortable bedding! We were treated wonderful from the time we booked with Dennis and the management company was great as well! We absolutely loved Sharon! She was a sweetheart, always available for anything we needed! She is a great employee to the cottages! Sunsets were amazing!!! We will definitely be back again every year!!!

coconut cottage was a very nice place to stay. the weather was horrible so we were very pleased to have a nice place to stay.If we go back to fort myers we would want to stay in the gulf cottage.also would like to add that the toaster did not wrk and we let them know and the next morning it was replaced. my husband and i come to the ft myers area a couple times a year and this was the worst weather and the ocean was the nastiest we have ever seen, it even smelled like sewer... so our only bright spot was our cottage..and yes we would stay there again..the beds were so comfortable

Response from the owner We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for letting us know as soon as you realized the toaster wasn't working. We were able to get it replaced right away. Sometimes folks don't let us know about things like this until they leave and then we feel bad because we could have fixed it for them right away. We will be looking forward to hearing from you for your next visit to Cottages of Paradise Point on beautiful Fort Myers Beach.

“Zero pressure, no worries and total relaxation for our entire fa”

We're a family of five and found Coconut Cottage to be a perfect get-away. The cottage is tastefully and well appointed, clean and obviously cared for with pride and intentionality in thinking of guests' needs. From the deck It has a sweet view down the palm lined semi-private lane to the ocean, we couldn't have been more pleased. You have the feeling of being in a safe and protected enclave of a few cottages where families gather to quietly hang out at the beach and simply be together. Our children could easily and safely walk to and from the beach from the cottage without supervision. The cottages are at a quieter end of the beach and are reminiscent of classic Florida, but with modern upgrades. The beach too is quieter at this end with far fewer tourists. Yet, its just a short walk down the beach or along the road into town for a bite or shopping. Reserving was easy and clear, directions and key pickup (middle of the night for us) went without a problem. And Dennis (owner) communicated fantastically - he was around the next day and graciously told us what's what in the area. When we left we booked for next year!

Response from the owner Thank you for this review. All of us at Cottages of Paradise Point work very hard to make each guests stay with us a special experience. We are gratified that we succeeded so well with you, and we will be looking forward to having your family again with us next year.

We loved our stay at Paradise Point (Coconut Cottage). Some of the people in our group had stayed there in 2005 (Mermaid Cottage). The Cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We will be going again soon. The Shell picking and Para-sailing were great on Fort Myers Beach as well as Captiva. Dolphins were seen every day! Sunset - Awesome. Loved the beach chairs provided! All the other renters at Paradise Point were great too!

Response from the owner Thank for the kind review. All of us at Cottages of Paradise Point work very hard to make sure sure every guests stay is as enjoyable as possible. We will be looking forward to seeing you again.

We have stayed at the Coconut a number of times now and it never fails to exceed our expectations. The cottage is spotless when we arrived, beautifully appointed with charming nick nacks, is a hop skip and jump from the most beautiful bea h in Florida and oh yeah, Lisa and Dennis are our innkeepers. The only thing stopping us from going back tomorrow is time and money (I must work for a living). Thanks again Lisa, Dennis and Sharon... Until we return next December and the December after that and the December after that and ...

Response from the owner Thank you for the very kind review. We are looking forward to seeing you and your family again next December, and the next, and the next, etc. Dennis

“Unbelievably Great!”

My husband, 12 yr old daughter and 2 dogs drove from Canada to Fort Myers Beach, FL and stayed at the Cottages of Paradise Point in the Coconut Cottage (the red one!). The property was beautiful. The beach access awesome. Our cottage was decorated with lovely personal touches. It was very clean and came equipped with more than I used. The staff was helpful and the owner is very proud of his strip of paradise. I would recommend these cottages to anyone looking for fun & sun. The only thing we wish is that the city build another bridge to Fort Myers beach as March along with other busy times takes crazy tooo long to get across. Otherwise perfect!

Response from the owner All of us at Cottages of Paradise Point thank you for the kind words. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and will be looking forward to your next visit

“Great family vacation spot!”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2012

A perfectly appointed, upscale cottage. The service is great. The owner walked me through his website that contains pictures and explained everything I needed to know before booking. The location is 5 minutes from the Pier, where you can find souveniers, shopping and dining. Grocery stores and fish markets not far. Honestly, the owners of this cottage are clearly sticklers for details. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage. Master has queen bed and 2nd bedroom has 2 twins. The couch in living room pulls out if necessary. I would go back in a heart beat. Sanibel, captiva and Naples are great day trips.(many beaches to shell on and see) We parasailed and rented a boat with ease. I cannot think of one thing that they have left out of this cottage. The kitchen is packed with ever single thing you need down to a citrus grater! Stove top is electric. Grill outside is propane. You get flat screen t.v.'s in every bedroom and in living room. Giant windows to see the ocean through while inside. I can not wait to get back. Wish we lived closer!!! Thanks Dennis!
