“a little jewel of a place to keep returning to”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

It was the second time for me to stay at this studio in the East Village and, once again, I can confirm how pleasant my experience has been. The studio has undergone a few changes since my last visit which have been very much appreciated as a definite plus. Both Christina and Isaac are lovely people and, living in the building, they provide an immediate assistance or solution to a problem, if need be, with much grace and caring. The location is my favorite as it is unique in Manhattan to be close to everything that matters and so well connected with all that is of interest. It is absolutely rich in extraordinary venues to go to for having breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and Christina's book is a precious guide to follow in this respect. Being a veteran of Manhattan's East Village, I've anyway very well profited from her tips and never was disappointed. Beside restaurants, there are tons of interesting stores, cinemas that offer choice new releases as well as old gems that you can't find elsewhere in the world, high-rate bookshops, the open market at Union Square and the smaller stimulating markets on Bond or Wooster. Chinatown is a pleasant walk down and there you can have such a wild variety of exotic and useful articles to choose from... and then sit down for a truly Chinese meal! I truly loved staying at the studio and I'll definitely recommend it to anybody visiting New York, as I'd certainly sign up for my next stay!

“Great Vacation Rental!”

The stay in the studio apartment was wonderful. The owners are very nice and willing to help with anything needed. The location could not have been better... close to many main attractions, shopping, and restaurants.

“Great place to stay in NYC”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2011

I've stayed in this studio apartment several times on various trips to New York. It is in a great historic building on a beautiful tree-lined street in one of the coolest areas of the city. The studio is very clean and well kept and the owners are great people, very helpful and very accommodating. The neighborhood is very convenient with many restaurants and shops nearby and Union Square and the Subway just a couple of blocks away. A really great place to stay when visiting NYC.
