“Wonderful Copenhagen”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2014

We only stayed two nights in Copenhagen and selected the apartment because it was good value for money but also its close location to the main station and the town centre. Contact with the owner was easy and effective and we were made very welcome by a relative of the owner. We liked the apartment, it was simply furnished but was light and airy. It was very quiet inspite of being opposite the railway station and we especially enjoyed having access a large balcony. We would certainly recommend the apartment and will revisit Copenhagen again soon.

“Apartment very well located”

Ideal apartment for 3-4 people. Clean and cozy. It has everything you need to be comfortable and its close to the city center (Central Station, Tivoli, City Hall Square ...). No noise, you can sleep well. Beware of the light switches! Under that touches you may be left without wifi or hot water. Are not well marked and we were a whole day without internet and no hot water. There are two flights of stairs to get therefore: fail if there are mobility problems or if you carry a heavy luggage, the building has'nt elevator.

“Stylish and comfortable apartment in a fantastic location.”

We stayed at Siri's stylish apartment for a four day city break. The apartment is in a fantastic location-next to Central Station- yet at the start of the hip neighbourhood of Vesterbro with its rich mix of people and funky cages and bars. Reminded me a little of Dalston in London and also of Kreuzburgin Berlin. The apartment itself has everything you need for a break and has a lovely wee balcony perfect for a drink after a day exploring beautiful Copenhagen. Highly recommended.

“Uber-cool, centrally-located apartment for real life Copenhagen”

Staying in somebody's home is way more interesting than staying in an anonymous hotel and we just loved living like locals in this very cool, urban-design apartment. Light and airy with modern and retro styling combined, it had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home: a powerful shower and a well-equipped kitchen were a bonus. However, without an iPod we had no means of entertainment indoors as there was a docking station but no radio, CD player or TV. Plenty of weighty art and design books to leaf through made up for it though. The apartment's location, bang oppostite Central Station, means that the airport is only 20 mins door to door and we could walk everywhere around town with ease, day or night. The apartment's orientation means that it is really quiet, even at night, and there is no sense of the comings and goings of the world outside until you step out onto the pavement. We loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of Copenhagen, especially the up and coming but slightly gritty meat-packing district in Vesterbro, just five minutes walk from the apartment. Go there for the latest happenings and openings in art, culture, fashion, bars and restaurants. A great place to stay for a fun couple of nights!

“Nice apartment and very easy to get there as well as getting aro”

The location is great and surprisingly quiet! You can do so much by foot and the central station really near! The apartment is clean and comfortable for 3! We highly recomend this place and if we come back to Copenhagen, W`ll stay here again!!

“stylish, central and well equipped”

we cannot ask for a better home in copenhagen, since it's better than our own home! first thing first, if you're planning to go out anytime of the day, this stylish home is just behind the central station (literally like 2 mins walk from home to the platform), allowing you to travel nationally and internationally. What can you ask for more when the most convenient public transport is just opposite to your vacation home? And if you're looking for night life and good restaurants, Kødbyen (meat packing district) is just 10 min walk, the owners even worked in one of the coolest bar there so you're certain to get free drinks lol We on the other hand recommend Patepate, good food and nice ambiance. Back to the apartment, we cook our breakfast everyday, a few dinners as well, not because we hate Danish food that much, but because we totally adore their kitchen, you can find cook books and anything you need for cooking a big meal. Plus we really enjoy chatting while cooking in their kitchen coz it's cozy and spacious. And of course we enjoyed our meal in their lovely dining area with candles lit, lovely tableware and stylish decor. It's like we're already in a restaurant when sipping our wine and tasting our delicious food, We even had our little party on our last night there playing cards and games! One of our biggest concerns before we got there was how warm the apartment is, all I can tell you is hot power shower runs 24 hrs a day and so are the warm heater and insulated rooms, so we are very happy in the cold weather. Highly recommend this stylish and lovely apartment, we defo go back ourselves too!
