“A pleasant flat in Manarola to explore the Italian riviera”
Il patio was a pleasant flat to explore the Cinque Terre and Italian riviera. The landlords were attentive and responded quickly to all inquiries. Manarola is a quite, rustic village and the least commercialized of the Cinque Terre. It also has the better restaurants in my view.
“A Gem thats perfect!”
Apartment exceeded our expectation in every way. Piera and husband very responsive to needs .They know the meaning of the word "Hospitality". Apartment like new had everthing you needed and was in perfect condition working and cleanleness order.Piera came with new sheets, linen after 3 days leaving outside our door on table never intruding on our privacy..View from window was beautiful Manarola harbor and the teraced hills like a picture from travel magazine. But beware of time you visit heat can be a issue if planning hikes I would avoid July but that has nothing to do with apartment, also if edlery steps could be a challege but if not physically hamperered this apartment is GREAT!
“Nice clean studio”
Our host picked us up at the train station in town and carried our luggage to the apartment. The apartment was newly renovated will all the necessary appliances.the view was fantastic. Couldn't recommend a better studio at reasonable rates, and a great host.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was immaculate and the service was wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone staying here, but be prepared for lots of stairs anywhere on Cinque Terre. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and access to many restaurants and shops along the Cnque Terre and within Manarola.
“Very Good Manarola Rental”
Il Patio is a comfortable, very clean apartment professionally operated by a very friendly hostess, Piera. The apartment has everything you need and the wifi is fast. Piera is easy to communicate with, helpful and warm. And, Manarola is a special little town, much quieter than some of the other town in the Cinque Terre.
“Il Patio lived up to it's expectations.”
Accomodation was just as described with a warm and helpful welcome from the owners. Very convenient location, great views and a comfortable, clean apartment. 50 steps to reach it; should that be a problem owners helped wih cases on arrival and departure! Trains excellent, season ticket for the coast is good value and bus up the hill to Volastra saved one climb!
“Loved this little hideaway!”
Cinque Terre is amazing and staying at IL Patio was perfect for what I wanted to do...hike, beach, explore! The room was spotless and comfy, and the view was perfect. Piera and her husband were friendly, helpful and though I never needed her she was accessible, even had a cell phone available to contact her! I heard several tourist on trains complaining about there accommodations so needless to say was if you stay here you will have no complaints!
“Very clean and comfortable and really nice to home to after fair”
The service was great. We arrived after midnight and were met by Peira and her husband at the train station after travelling for 17 hours and their welcome was very friendly and warm. They helped us with our luggage both to and from the station which was brilliant. The apartment is well equipped, modern, well-appointed and spotless with lovely views of the harbour, headland and vineyards. There are a lot of stairs but that's the Cinque Terre experience and because our luggage was carried for us, it wasn't an issue. Manarola was our favorite village and as all the low walks are currently closed, the high walks can be strenuous and slippery but very rewarding. Walking in the vineyards listening to the locals talking while they work is really special and the views are spectacular.
